Oilers' Connor Ingram: On wrong end of narrow shutout loss
Ingram stopped 17 of 18 shots in Thursday's 1-0 loss to the Islanders.
Ingram put forth a good effort, but Anthony Duclair's power-play goal at 13:42 of the third period was the difference. The 28-year-old Ingram has gone 2-2-1 while allowing 13 goals on 133 shots over his last five outings. He's provided fairly steady goaltending recently, but Ingram's playing time is still likely to decrease now that Tristan Jarry is back from a lower-body injury. Ingram is 4-3-1 with a 2.49 GAA and a .907 save percentage over eight starts. At this point, he's likely playing to try to force the Oilers to waive Calvin Pickard (3.68 GAA/.871 save percentage in 16 games). With a back-to-back over the weekend, Ingram may get to play either Saturday in Vancouver or Sunday at home versus the Blues.

Oilers' Connor Ingram: Set to start Thursday
Ingram is slated to start Thursday's home game against the Islanders, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports.
Ingram got the night off in the second half of a back-to-back set Tuesday against Nashville, but he'll return to the crease Thursday for the third time in the Oilers' last four games. Across his last three appearances, Ingram has gone 2-0-1 with a 1.95 GAA and .930 save percentage.

Oilers' Connor Ingram: Strong outing in lopsided win
Ingram halted 29 of 30 shots on goal in Monday's 4-1 win over the Blackhawks.
Ingram earned his way back into the win column with a great outing, allowing just one goal to Tyler Bertuzzi late in the third period. With Monday's victory, the 28-year-old goalie has a 4-2-1 record with a 2.70 GAA and a .904 save percentage across seven appearances this season. Ingram has two wins over his last three starts with 80 saves during that span. While Calvin Pickard will likely play the second half of the team's back-to-back, Ingram has a solid chance to start Thursday at home against the Islanders.

Oilers' Connor Ingram: Starting in Chicago
Ingram will defend the road net against the Blackhawks on Monday, Tony Brar of Oilers TV reports.
Ingram will make his second straight start after a 27-save effort in Saturday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Kings. He has a 3-2-1 record at the NHL level this season while stopping 149 of the 167 shots he has faced. Chicago sits 24th in the league this campaign with 2.82 goals per game.

Oilers' Connor Ingram: Falls in shootout
Ingram stopped 27 of 30 shots in Saturday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Kings.
Ingram kept the game close, as neither team was able to open a multi-goal advantage. In the shootout, Adrian Kempe had the lone tally for either side, leaving Ingram to take his third loss in his last four outings. Ingram has a 3-2-1 record with a 2.98 GAA and an .892 save percentage over six starts. The Oilers have utilized a goalie rotation with Ingram and Calvin Pickard. If that pattern holds, Pickard could start Monday in Chicago, and Ingram would follow with Tuesday's road game in Nashville. That said, Tristan Jarry (lower body) is eligible to return from long-term injured reserve as soon as Monday. Once Jarry is healthy, he'll command most of the playing time.

Oilers' Connor Ingram: Defending crease Saturday
Ingram will protect the home against the Kings on Saturday, according to Tony Brar of Oilers TV.
Ingram is coming off a 24-save performance in Tuesday's 6-2 win over Nashville. He has a 3-2-0 record at the NHL level this campaign while turning aside 122 of the 137 shots he has faced. The Kings rank 28th in the league with 2.63 goals per game this season.

Oilers' Connor Ingram: Back on track with win
Ingram stopped 24 of 26 shots in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Predators.
Ingram had allowed nine goals on 61 shots over his last two outings, both losses. He was better in this one, keeping the Predators off the board until they scored twice in a 15-second span during the third period, though the Oilers' lead was never in real danger. Ingram is now 3-2-0 on the season, and he's done enough to at least earn a split of the crease with Calvin Pickard while Tristan Jarry (lower body) is on long-term injured reserve for at least the next week. The Oilers' next game is Thursday in Winnipeg, and it's not yet clear which netminder will get the nod for that one.

Oilers' Connor Ingram: Between pipes versus Nashville
Ingram will face the Predators at home Tuesday, per Tony Brar of Oilers TV.
Ingram has allowed a total of nine goals on 61 shots (.852 save percentage) and is 0-2-0 across his last starts after starting his 2025-26 campaign with back-to-back victories. The 28-year-old will continue to work in tandem with Calvin Pickard until Tristan Jarry (lower body) is ready to return to the lineup. As for Tuesday's opponent, the Predators are 6-2-0 in their last eight games, a stretch in which they have generated 25 goals.

Oilers' Connor Ingram: First ugly outing of campaign
Ingram allowed six goals on 29 shots in Wednesday's 6-2 loss to the Bruins.
Ingram gave up a pair of goals in each period after having given up just seven goals over his first three starts combined. The 28-year-old was pushing Calvin Pickard for the starting job in the absence of Tristan Jarry (lower body), but the short-term outlook of the Oilers' crease could be a timeshare. Ingram is 2-2-0 with an .883 save percentage over four outings. The Oilers' next game is at home versus the Flyers on Saturday, and they have no back-to-back sets over the next week.

Oilers' Connor Ingram: Facing Bruins
Ingram will patrol the home crease against Boston on Wednesday, Tony Brar of Oilers TV reports.
Ingram is coming off a 29-save effort in Saturday's 3-2 loss to Calgary. He has stopped 75 of the 82 shots he has faced en route to a 2-1-0 record with the Oilers this season. Boston is tied for 17th in the league with 3.05 goals per game this campaign.

Oilers' Connor Ingram: Takes first loss of season
Ingram allowed three goals on 32 shots in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Flames.
Ingram wasn't able to replicate his 18-save effort from Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Flames in Edmonton. The 28-year-old has allowed seven goals on 82 shots over his three starts so far, which have all come in a row. Calvin Pickard has lost the trust of head coach Kris Knoblauch, but the Oilers may opt to ride the hot hand while navigating Tristan Jarry's (lower body) absence. If Ingram can put in decent performances, he could carve out a majority of the playing time in the short term.

Oilers' Connor Ingram: Lightly tested in second win
Ingram stopped 18 of 19 shots in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Flames.
The Oilers' top players were dominant, giving Ingram plenty of support as he collected his second win in as many starts. The 28-year-old netminder has started consecutive contests, and with the pair of wins, he's in a great position to continue challenging Calvin Pickard's grip on the starting job in the absence of Tristan Jarry (lower body). The Oilers have a rematch with the Flames in Calgary on Saturday to resume the season after the holiday break.

Oilers' Connor Ingram: Facing Flames
Ingram will patrol the home crease against Calgary on Tuesday, Tony Brar of Oilers TV reports.
Ingram is coming off a 26-save performance in Sunday's 4-3 win over Vegas. With Calvin Pickard struggling and Tristan Jarry (lower body) on injured reserve, Ingram could string together some starts if he continues to play well. Calgary sits 28th in the league with 2.64 goals per game this campaign.

Oilers' Connor Ingram: Wins in Edmonton debut
Ingram stopped 26 of 29 shots in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Golden Knights.
The Oilers' offense played well over the first half of the game, giving Ingram a 4-0 lead to work with. The Golden Knights pushed back but netted only three goals, allowing the 28-year-old netminder to win his debut for the Oilers. He had struggled with AHL Bakersfield to begin this season, but he has an opportunity ahead of him to compete with Calvin Pickard directly for playing time while Tristan Jarry (lower body) is out for multiple weeks. The Oilers' next two games are against the Flames.

Oilers' Connor Ingram: Making season debut against Vegas
Ingram is set to make his 2025-26 debut against the Golden Knights on Sunday, Tony Brar of Oilers TV reports.
Ingram was recalled from AHL Bakersfield on Friday due to Tristan Jarry's lower-body injury. The 28-year-old Ingram is 4-5-2 with an .856 save percentage and a 4.04 GAA across 11 appearances with the Condors this season. The 2016 third-round pick will have a difficult first start against a Vegas team that sits second in the Pacific Divison with 42 points and is 9-3-5 away from home. Ingram went 9-8-4 with an .882 save percentage and a 3.27 GAA over 22 appearances with Utah in 2024-25.

Oilers' Connor Ingram: Expected to be recalled
Ingram is slated to be recalled by the Oilers, Mark Spector of Sportsnet reports Friday.
The Oilers are finishing up a road trip in Minnesota on Saturday and have sent Tristan Jarry (lower body) home to be evaluated by their medical staff after he was hurt Thursday in Boston. Ingram has struggled this season at the AHL level, posting a 4-5-2 record with a 4.04 GAA and an .856 save percentage across 11 appearances with Bakersfield. He had his worst performance of the season Saturday, allowing seven goals on 27 shots in an overtime win over Tucson. He is expected to back up Calvin Pickard on Saturday and could possibly start at home Sunday versus Vegas.

Oilers' Connor Ingram: Getting fresh start
Ingram was acquired by Edmonton from Utah on Wednesday in exchange for future considerations. Utah will retain $800,000 of his $1.95 million cap hit.
Ingram, who is in the final season of his three-year, $5.85 million contract, had a 9-8-4 record, 3.27 GAA and an .882 save percentage across 22 appearances with Utah in 2024-25. While those numbers aren't great, he had a solid .907 save percentage across 77 outings with Arizona during the 2022-23 and 2023-24 regular seasons. Ingram was in the NHL/NHLPA Player Assistance Program before being cleared to return to on-ice activities in August. He's already cleared waivers, and Edmonton plans to have him start in AHL Bakersfield, per Jason Gregor of Sports 1440 Edmonton. However, it wouldn't be surprising to see him earn an opportunity with the Oilers as the season progresses.

Mammoth's Connor Ingram: Placed on waivers
Ingram was designated for waivers by the Mammoth on Thursday.
After entering the Player Assistance Program last year, Ingram was cleared to resume playing but didn't report to Utah's training camp as the team worked to get him a fresh start. It seems the club wasn't able to find a trade partner, instead designating Ingram for waivers. If he goes unclaimed, look for the 28-year-old Canadian to start the year in the minors in the hope of revitalizing his career.

Mammoth's Connor Ingram: Won't attend camp with Utah
General manager Bill Armstrong said Wednesday that Ingram won't attend training camp as the Mammoth work to find a new home for the netminder, Cole Bagley of KSL Sports reports.
Ingram missed the end of the 2024-25 campaign while tending to a personal matter, but he was cleared to return to on-ice activities in mid-August. However, he's seeking out a new home ahead of the 2025-26 season. Both sides are on the same page about parting ways, as Ingram and the Mammoth are working to seek out a new team. If the two sides are unable to find a new destination for Ingram, the Mammoth intend to eventually place him on waivers. Vitek Vanecek is slated to serve as Karel Vejmelka's backup once the regular season gets underway.
