LaCombe put up an assist Thursday in a 6-4 loss to the Maple Leafs.
It was LaCombe's 38th assist of the season. The last Ducks defenseman to record more assists in a season was Lubomir Visnovsky (50 in 2010-11). LaCombe is tied with John Carlson for 13th in NHL scoring with 46 points from the blue line. He's tied for 10th in assists with Erik Karlsson. LaCombe has already established a new career mark in points (46 in 65 games). Last season, he had 43 points in 75 games.

Ducks' Jackson LaCombe: Earns two points Tuesday
LaCombe scored an empty-net goal on four shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Jets.
LaCombe had a hand in Ryan Poehling's go-ahead goal in the second period, and he added the empty-netter for insurance. This was LaCombe's second multi-point effort in his last three contests. The 25-year-old defenseman is up to eight goals and a career-high 45 points through 64 outings, surpassing his 43-point effort from 75 games a year ago. Ducks' Jackson LaCombe: Collects two points in shootout win
LaCombe scored a power-play goal on two shots and added an assist in Friday's 6-5 shootout win over the Canadiens.
LaCombe had gone 27 games without a goal prior to his second-period tally Friday. Despite the lack of goals, he had 10 assists over his prior 11 contests to maintain a steady presence on offense in addition to his strong defense. The 25-year-old blueliner is up to seven goals, 36 assists, 14 power-play points, 124 shots on net, 106 blocked shots, 55 hits and an even plus-minus rating over 62 appearances. LaCombe is likely to remain the Ducks' top overall blueliner, but he may lose some power-play minutes to John Carlson (lower body), who was traded from the Capitals prior to Friday's deadline.

The Ducks couldn't get anything going at even strength, but LaCombe had a hand in power-play tallies by Cutter Gauthier in the first period and Alex Killorn in the third. LaCombe scored a goal Tuesday in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Penguins.
LaCombe tied it 3-3 with 3:16 left in the third frame with a shot from below the goal line that went off the mask of Jet Greaves and ultimately forced overtime. LaCombe has a goal in each of his last two games. The left-shot defenseman's ice time is climbing -- he recorded a whopping 31:23 in Tuesday's loss. LaCombe carried the puck down the far wall and wired a wrist shot from a sharp angle over Arturs Silovs' right shoulder. LaCombe brought his best for a Pacific Division showdown, earning his first multi-point effort of the season. Both of his goals have come over the last four contests, suggesting his puck luck is starting to come around. The defenseman is at 10 points, 48 shots, 41 blocks, 18 hits and an even plus-minus rating through 22 appearances. With just a slight uptick in production, he should be able to get on pace to exceed his 43-point effort from 75 outings a year ago.

LaCombe scored a goal on five shots in Monday's 3-2 overtime win over the Mammoth.
LaCombe has three points over his last five games. The 24-year-old defenseman opened the scoring at 15:52 of the first period. He's yet to really join in on the Ducks' high-scoring fun through the first quarter of the season, posting a modest eight points over 19 outings after having 14 goals and 43 points in 75 appearances a year ago. LaCombe's ice time is at 25:05 per game, and he's added 42 shots on net, 35 blocked shots and 17 hits so far. It appears he's just had some bad luck, but there's enough talent in his game that he should be able to turn things around.

LaCombe has started slowly in 2025-26 -- the helper was his first point in five games. He's still seeing massive minutes as the Ducks' top overall blueliner, so he should be able to get back on track. The Minnesota native has compiled 10 shots on net, eight hits, eight blocks and a minus-1 rating so far this year, and he's averaging 25:23 of ice time.

Ducks' Jackson LaCombe: Signs eight-year pact
LaCombe inked an eight-year, $72 million contract extension with Anaheim on Thursday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
LaCombe's new deal comes in at the same $9 million AAV as the recently signed Luke Hughes, which seems to be driving the market. It's a somewhat risky play for Anaheim, considering the 24-year-old LaCombe has just two NHL seasons under his belt, including the 2024-25 campaign in which he notched 14 goals and 29 helpers, along with nine power-play points.
