Senators' Brady Tkachuk: Gets goal and misconduct
Tkachuk scored a power-play goal Thursday in a 2-1 overtime loss to Detroit. He also had 10 PIM.
The misconduct came after he jawed at Simon Edvinsson in the penalty box. Edvinsson had flattened Tkachuk with a big hit that bloodied the forward's nose. Dylan Cozens fought Edvinsson to defend his teammate, and Tkachuk went to the glass and started chirping the defender. The goal was Tkachuk's 15th of the season; he has 38 points, 44 PIM and 147 shots in 38 games.

Senators' Brady Tkachuk: Scores, assists Friday
Tkachuk recorded a goal and an assist in the United States' 6-2 win over Slovakia in the semifinals of the 2026 Winter Olympics on Friday.
Tkachuk participated in the build-up of the team's fourth goal, courtesy of Jack Eichel, and then he scored one of his own at the 10:52 mark of the final frame to give Team USA a 6-1 lead. Tkachuk is up to three goals and five points in five games at the tournament ahead of facing Canada in the gold-medal game Sunday.

After lighting the lamp for the game's opening goal in the first period, Tkachuk helped break the contest open in the third with a pair of helpers, including one on a power play. With his three-point night, the 26-year-old winger is up to 14 goals, 22 assists, 132 shots on net and 94 hits across 34 games this season. Saturday's performance helped him climb back above a point per game in limited action this season. Since Jan. 14, he has six goals, 15 points and 30 shots on net across nine games. While reaching his career high in points is likely out of the question, Tkachuk has a strong chance to record his fifth consecutive season with 55-plus points, 250-plus shots on net and 200-plus hits. He is one of the true elite category-coverage forwards in fantasy.

While his missed time has him at risk of losing that streak this season, he has flashed his elite category coverage when healthy and should continue to be a fantasy force for the foreseeable future.

The rugged winger opened the scoring early in the first period by having the puck deflect in off his leg while fighting with Artyom Levshunov for position in front of the net. Tkachuk's second tally late in the second period showed a little more skill, as he took a feed from Thomas Chabot and fired it home from the slot.
