Prishchepov hasn't yet made his NHL debut, but he'll join the injury-plagued Avalanche ahead of their road game in Nashville on Saturday. He's made six appearances in the AHL to begin the season, racking up a goal and three assists while posting a plus-3 rating.
Prishchepov signed a three-year, entry-level contract with Colorado on Sunday.
Prishchepov generated 22 goals and 67 points in 63 regular-season games with QMJHL Victoriaville in 2023-24. He added three goals and eight assists in 14 playoff contests. The 20-year-old forward is expected to play for AHL Colorado this campaign.
