Rotowire
Zamula scored a goal, recorded an assist and notched a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Sabres.
Zamula scored his first goal of the season Saturday with a wrist shot just 2:08 into the second period. He also set up Travis Sanheim's goal in the first frame, allowing Zamula to record his first multi-point game of the campaign. Zamula wasn't very productive in the early stages of the season but has turned things around of late and is currently riding a three-game point streak.

Flyers' Egor Zamula: Posts assist
Rotowire
Zamula logged an assist and went plus-2 in Monday's 4-3 shootout win over the Sharks.
Zamula has played in four straight games, and he'll have a little security to stay in the lineup until Cam York (upper body) returns. The helper was Zamula's third of the season, snapping a four-game point drought. The 24-year-old blueliner has added nine shots on net, 18 blocked shots and a minus-10 rating across 12 appearances, mainly in a third-pairing role with power-play time.

Flyers' Egor Zamula: Slides helper in loss
Rotowire
Zamula provided an assist and went minus-2 in Wednesday's 6-3 loss to the Capitals.
Zamula has two assists and a minus-10 rating through seven contests, and his defensive struggles could eventually cost him a spot in the lineup. The defenseman has added seven shots on net, six hits and 12 blocked shots. He's seen power-play time but plays on the third pairing at even strength, though head coach John Tortorella may get more reliable defense from veteran Erik Johnson.

Flyers' Egor Zamula: Garners assist Tuesday
Rotowire
Zamula recorded an assist, two hits and two blocked shots in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Oilers.
Zamula has played in all three games this season -- he was a frequent healthy scratch in 2023-24. His helper Tuesday was his first point of 2024-25, to go with three shots on net, eight blocked shots and a minus-4 rating. Zamula's best path to fantasy relevance is through his power-play time, as he earned nine of his 21 points with the man advantage last year.

Flyers' Egor Zamula: Signs two-year contract
Rotowire
Zamula signed a two-year, $3.4 million contract with Philadelphia on Sunday.
Zamula produced five goals, 21 points, 61 shots on net and 79 blocked shots across 66 regular-season outings with the Flyers this past campaign. The 24-year-old defender will probably see action in a bottom-pairing role in 2024-25.

Flyers' Egor Zamula: Solid in first full season
Rotowire
Zamula recorded five goals, 16 assists and nine power-play points in 66 regular-season games this year.
Zamula finally was able to crack the Flyers' roster as a full-time player this season after having previously logged just 26 games over the prior three campaigns. The 24-year-old blueliner will need a new contract this summer but, as a restricted free agent, should be back in the fold ahead of training camp in the fall. If he can maintain or increase his role with the man advantage, Zamula should be capable of pushing for the 35-40 point mark next season.

Flyers' Egor Zamula: Not playing Saturday
Rotowire
Zamula (illness) won't play Saturday versus the Lightning.
Zamula was also absent from the morning skate, but the Flyers didn't make a roster move for an extra defenseman. Instead, they appear set to dress 13 forwards and five blueliners against the Lightning. Zamula should be considered day-to-day ahead of Tuesday's game versus the Sharks.

Flyers' Egor Zamula: Healthy scratch Saturday
Rotowire
Zamula will be watching Saturday's game versus Seattle from the press box, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Coach John Tortorella had been using Zamula as an extra blueliner recently, but the Flyers will go with a more traditional lineup Saturday with Nicolas Deslauriers playing alongside Scott Laughton and Garnet Hathaway. Zamula has five goals and 15 points in 42 games this season. He has been a fantasy asset in deeper leagues this season thanks to his six power-play points and 50 blocked shots.

Flyers' Egor Zamula: Expected to play Tuesday
Rotowire
Zamula (illness) is likely to play in Tuesday's game versus the Panthers, Jackie Spiegel of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Zamula missed the last contest before the All-Star break while ill, but the 23-year-old is apparently fine to return after just the one absence. The Flyers are expected to roll seven defensemen Tuesday, though Zamula figures to see power-play time even if he doesn't get a regular shift at even strength.

Flyers' Egor Zamula: Career game in Sunday's loss
Rotowire
Zamula produced two goals, one on the power-play, and a power-play assist in Sunday's 5-3 loss to the Senators.
The 23-year-old blueliner has suddenly become a threat for the Flyers. Zamula came into the season with just four points, all assists, in 26 career NHL games, but he's racked up four goals and 11 points over the last 15 contests, including all six of his career points with the man advantage (two goals, four helpers). Philadelphia has rotated through a number of defensemen on its top power-play unit, so Zamula could lose his spot to Jamie Drysdale or Cam York at some point, but for the moment, he's delivering enough offense to be worth a roster spot in nearly all fantasy formats.

Flyers' Yegor Zamula: Scores twice in WJC opener
Rotowire
Zamula scored twice in Russia's 4-3 loss to the Czech Republic in the opening game of the 2020 IIHF World Junior Championship on Thursday.
Not bad for an undrafted free agent. The Russians have rarely taken CHL players to the tournament the past many years, but Zamula -- who plays for WHL Calgary -- was simply too good to pass up. The big rearguard has seven goals and 28 points in 28 games for the Hitmen this season. Zamula signed with the Flyers as an undrafted free agent in September 2018.
