Bengals' Noah Fant: Another lost fumble
Fant caught one pass for five yards in Sunday's loss to the Browns, but he coughed up that reception, and that fumble was returned for a touchdown for the third time this season.
Fant's fumble was the perfect cap to a truly disappointing season, one where he caught 34 passes for 288 yards and three touchdowns. The last of those scores came Week 9 against the Bears. He enters the offseason as a free agent after signing a one-year, $2.75 million deal with the Bengals in July.

Bengals' Noah Fant: One target in win over Cardinals
Fant was held without a catch on one target in Sunday's win over the Cardinals, while playing 16 offensive snaps.
Fant has been playing through an ankle injury, and he's taken a back seat to Mike Gesicki on passing downs. He hasn't had a multi-catch game since Week 11 against the Steelers.

Bengals' Noah Fant: Ready to roll for Week 17
Fant (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Charlie Goldsmith of the Dayton Daily News reports.
Fant missed Cincinnati's Week 16 game due to an ankle injury, but he'll return after logging a pair of limited practice sessions to begin the week before being a full participant Friday. He isn't likely to occupy a significant role in the offense, as he's commanded two or fewer targets in four consecutive contests.

Bengals' Noah Fant: Questionable despite full practice
Fant (ankle) has been labeled as questionable to suit up against the Cardinals on Sunday, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.
Fant hurt his ankle against Baltimore in Week 15 and didn't play last Sunday against Miami. He was deemed limited for the first two practices of this week before logging a full session Friday. Despite the uncapped practice, Fant's status for Week 17 thus is up in the air, but he's probably more likely than not to be available.

Bengals' Noah Fant: Limited to open Week 17 prep
Fant (ankle) was a limited practice participant Wednesday.
Fant sustained an ankle injury during the Bengals' Week 15 loss to the Ravens. He was unable to play against the Dolphins in Week 16, but his ability to practice Wednesday -- albeit in a limited capacity -- indicates that he is progressing in his recovery. Fant would likely avoid an injury tag for Sunday's game against the Cardinals if he were to practice fully by Friday.

Bengals' Noah Fant: Won't play in Week 16
Fant (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.
Fant will sit out due to the ankle injury he sustained in this past Sunday's loss to the Ravens. Drew Sample, Tanner Hudson or Cam Grandy could play additional snaps alongside Mike Gesicki due to Fant's absence. Fant's next chance to play will be Week 17 against the Cardinals.

Bengals' Noah Fant: Upgrades to limited practice
Fant (ankle) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
Fant was unable to practice Wednesday due to the ankle injury he sustained during Cincinnati's loss to the Ravens in Week 15, but he's now making tangible progress in his recovery. Friday's session will represent Fant's last chance to prove he's capable of handling full practice reps ahead of Sunday's matchup against Miami.

Bengals' Noah Fant: Misses practice Wednesday
Fant (ankle) did not practice Wednesday, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.
Fant was forced off the field during the second quarter of Cincinnati's loss to the Ravens in Week 15 due to a right ankle issue, and he appears to be trending in the wrong direction for Sunday's road matchup against the Dolphins. If Fant isn't able to gain clearance for Week 16, Tanner Hudson will operate as the No. 2 tight end behind Mike Gesicki.

Bengals' Noah Fant: Questionable for second half
Fant (ankle) is questionable to return in Sunday's game against the Ravens.
Fant limped off the field in the second quarter of Sunday's matchup. The 28-year-old had 33 receptions for 283 yards and three touchdowns over his previous 12 games this season. If the seventh-year veteran is unable to return, Tanner Hudson will likely take over as the No. 2 tight end for the remainder of the game.

Bengals' Noah Fant: Minimal production against Bills
Fant caught one of two targets for 15 yards in Sunday's 39-34 loss to the Bills.
Fant was not a major factor in the Bengals' passing attack Sunday, recording just one grab for the third straight contest. The veteran tight end played 25 of Cincinnati's 60 offensive snaps, behind Drew Sample (27) and tied with Mike Gesicki. It was Gesicki, however, who had the biggest impact of any Bengals tight end, catching all six of his targets for 86 yards and a touchdown. With Gesicki operating as the team's top tight end in the passing game, Fant remains very difficult to trust for fantasy purposes heading into a Week 15 matchup against the Ravens.

Bengals' Noah Fant: Minimal impact again
Fant had one catch for three yards on two targets in Thursday night's win over the Ravens.
Fant at least played more snaps, 33 compared to 18 the week before, but wasn't a big part of the passing game. With Mike Gesicki healthy again, Fant's already modest level of production is incredibly unstable.
