Bryant joined Courtland Sutton and Jaylen Waddle as the Broncos' starting wideouts in Friday's preseason game. Although Bryant was listed as a starter, it remains to be seen whether he'll end up being the WR3 for the regular season, as he continues to face competition from Marvin Mims (undisclosed) and Troy Franklin. Broncos' Pat Bryant: Makes 15-yard catch on first play
Bryant caught his only target for 15 yards in Friday's 27-7 preseason win over the Falcons.
Bryant's catch came on Denver's first play of the game. It's encouraging to see the 2025 third-round pick getting involved early, as Bryant will have his work cut out for him as he tries to earn playing time in his second NFL campaign. Jaylen Waddle (leg) and Courtland Sutton are locked in as starters at wide receiver, while Bryant will also face competition for targets from Troy Franklin and Marvin Mims (undisclosed) in Denver's WR room.

Broncos' Pat Bryant: Significant role on tap?
Broncos coach Sean Payton suggested Monday that Bryant will have a role in the offense, Zack Kelberman of Mile High Huddle reports.
Payton responded, "We're not," when reporter Kay Adams asked him how he planned to keep Bryant off the field. The steady summer drumbeat for Bryant may be getting louder, but he's still part of a deep WR room where Courtland Sutton and Jaylen Waddle appear locked in as starters. Bryant is at least making a strong case for the No. 3 job, competing with Troy Franklin and Marvin Mims (undisclosed).

Broncos' Pat Bryant: Looking good in training camp
Bryant has stood out in team drills during the first week of Denver's training camp, Nick Kosmider of The Athletic reports.
Bryant was a third-round selection of the Broncos in the 2025 NFL Draft and saw his snap count and offensive output steadily increase over the course of his rookie season. Denver added to its wide receiver depth by trading for Jaylen Waddle to form a one-two punch with Courtland Sutton, but so far in training camp, Bryant has been making his case for slotting behind the top duo, along with fellow WRs Troy Franklin and Marvin Mims. If his strong training camp continues, Bryant would be in line for a larger share of offensive snaps in 2026 than he logged last year (48 percent).

Broncos' Pat Bryant: Spent offseason with training staff
Bryant said Friday that he spent almost the entire offseason in Denver rehabbing his hamstring injury and working with the training staff, Parker Gabriel of the Denver Post reports.
Bryant was injured in Denver's season-ending loss to the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game. The 2025 third-round pick had 31 catches for 378 yards and one TD on 49 targets in 15 games during his rookie regular season. Bryant has regained health but will need to impress the coaching staff throughout training camp and the preseason to earn a prominent role in a deep wide receiver room that Denver bolstered by trading for Jaylen Waddle in the offseason while retaining Courtland Sutton, Troy Franklin (hamstring), Marvin Mims and Bryant.

Broncos' Pat Bryant: Shows improvement in rookie season
Bryant (hamstring) ended the 2025 campaign with 31 receptions on 49 targets for 378 yards and a touchdown across 15 regular-season games. He added four grabs on four targets for 34 yards and one rush for one yard in two playoff games.
Despite a slow start to his first season, Bryant became a more important part of the Broncos' aerial attack as the campaign progressed. The rookie wideout worked his way up the depth chart to operate as Denver's No. 3 receiver, averaging six targets per game across his final four regular-season contests. Bryant suffered a hamstring injury in the second quarter of the AFC Championship Game loss to the Patriots, which led to him ultimately being ruled out for the second half of the game. Assuming the 23-year-old is back to full strength before next season, he should play a significant role as a pass catcher in head coach Sean Payton's offense alongside fellow receivers Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin. Bryant's continued development and the overall improvement of Denver's offense could allow the Illinois product to take a major step forward in 2026.

Bryant (hamstring) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Patriots, Nick Kosmider of The Athletic reports.
Bryant was initially deemed questionable to return to the game after suffering a hamstring injury during the second quarter, but the Broncos will end up holding him out for the remainder of the contest. Bryant is questionable to return to Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Patriots due to a hamstring injury, Luca Evans of The Denver Post reports.
After exiting last week's divisional-round win over the Bills when he sustained his second concussion in less than a month, Bryant cleared the five-step protocol in advance of Sunday's contest but is now tending to a new health concern. Before exiting in the second quarter, Bryant recorded one catch for two yards and rushed once for one yard.
