Raiders' Carter Runyon: Catches one pass in 2025
Runyon caught one pass for three yards in three games during the 2025 season.
Runyon joined the team as an undrafted free agent prior to the start of the season but had a quiet outing during his rookie campaign, as he saw the majority of his playing time on special teams. The 24-year-old will look to be more involved in Las Vegas' offense during the 2025 campaign.

Raiders' Carter Runyon: No targets in Week 11
Runyon wasn't targeted while playing one snap on offense in Monday's 33-16 loss to the Cowboys.
Runyon appeared on the stat sheet with a tackle on special teams, but the tight end once again came up empty on offense. In six appearances for Las Vegas this season, Runyon has recorded just one reception for three yards.

Carter Runyon: Joins Las Vegas' roster
The Raiders signed Runyon from their practice squad to their active roster Tuesday.
Runyon was elevated from the practice squad ahead of this past Sunday's loss to Chicago and logged 15 snaps on special teams (but no offensive snaps). He subsequently reverted back to the practice squad, but Las Vegas has elected to give him a spot on its active roster. Runyon could have a hard time getting into games on offense, however, as he's behind Brock Bowers, Michael Mayer (concussion) and Ian Thomas on the tight-end depth chart.

Carter Runyon: Returns to practice squad
Runyon reverted to the Raiders' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Runyon was elevated to the active roster ahead of Sunday's 25-24 loss to the Bears, failing to record any stats while playing 15 snaps on special teams. The tight end did not handle any offensive snaps, with Ian Thomas serving as the top backup option behind starter Brock Bowers. If Michael Mayer (concussion) is unavailable again in Week 5, Runyon could return to the active roster before the team's matchup with the Colts.

Raiders' Carter Runyon: Elevated from practice squad
The Raiders elevated Runyon from their practice squad Saturday ahead of Sunday's matchup versus the Bears.
Runyon is being elevated for the first time this season to help fill the void left by Michael Mayer's (concussion) absence. Runyon is one of two tight ends alongside Albert Okwuegbunam that the Raiders elevated, and they should both provide extra depth behind Brock Bowers and Ian Thomas during Sunday's matchup.

Carter Runyon: Dropped by Las Vegas
Runyon was waived by the Raiders on Tuesday.
Runyon signed with Las Vegas as an undrafted free agent in May, recording six catches for 74 yards over the team's three preseason contests. The tight end will now be placed on waivers, but if he goes unclaimed, he could stick around as a member of the Raiders' practice squad.
