Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle: Snaps TD drought in loss
Waddle caught both of his targets for minus-4 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 30-27 loss to the Bills.
Waddle wasn't targeted until just 2:34 remained in the fourth quarter, when he made a 12-yard catch to convert a third-and-7. He had an injury scare on the very next play, when Waddle stayed down after Damar Hamlin fell on his leg, but the wide receiver stayed in the game and proceeded to catch a game-tying seven-yard touchdown with 1:38 remaining. Unfortunately for Waddle's fantasy managers, he was credited with a 23-yard loss on the game's final play, as he got the ball on a lateral and ran backward to avoid a Bills defender, only to be tackled anyway. Waddle finally ended a touchdown drought that dated back to Week 15 of last season, but he's building a new infamous streak, with seven consecutive games of fewer than 50 receiving yards heading into a Week 10 MNF matchup against the Rams.

Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle: Stays quiet in Tua's return
Waddle caught four of six targets for 45 yards in Sunday's 28-27 loss to the Cardinals.
Waddle's fantasy managers had high hopes for a bounce back in Tua Tagovailoa's (concussion) return, but Waddle put forth yet another subpar outing as the Dolphins fell to 2-5. After posting 109 receiving yards in Week 1 against the Jaguars, Waddle hasn't exceeded 46 yards in any subsequent game. He'll try to snap that unsavory streak in a Week 9 road game against the Bills.

Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle: Cleared for Week 8 along with Tua
Waddle (quadriceps) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Cardinals after being a full participant in practice Friday, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.
Waddle avoided an injury designation with an uncapped practice Friday after limited sessions Wednesday and Thursday. He has a nice opportunity to break out of his slump with Miami getting Tua Tagovailoa back under center for the first time since Week 2 after the starting quarterback cleared concussion protocol.

Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle: Another limited practice
Waddle (quad) remained limited at practice Thursday, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.
While Waddle maintained his practice level from Wednesday, Tyreek Hill was added to Miami's injury report Thursday after being limited by a foot injury. The duo's status thus is worth tracking ahead of Sunday's game against the Cardinals. If Waddle is available this weekend, his fantasy prospects could be looking up, with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) trending toward a return from IR.

Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle: Limited participant to begin Week 8
Waddle was a limited participant in practice Wednesday due to a quadricep injury, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Waddle still has two opportunities to upgrade to full practice participation, which would put him in position to avoid an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Cardinals. Meanwhile, quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) returned to practice Wednesday for the first time since Week 2, and the expectation is that he'll clear the five-step concussion protocol and return from injured reserve to start Sunday. Waddle would stand to benefit substantially from Tagovailoa's return under center. The receiver had 150 receiving yards across Tagovailoa's two starts this season, and just 119 receiving yards in the four games Tagovailoa missed.

Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle: Nonfactor in Week 7 loss
Waddle secured one of two targets for 11 yards during Miami's 16-10 loss to the Colts on Sunday.
Waddle and Tyreek Hill combined for just two catches and 19 yards on four targets. Coming off a bye, the Dolphins' offense turned in yet another miserable performance despite facing off against a vulnerable Colts secondary, with the mid-game departure of Tyler Huntley (shoulder) only compounding the issues for Miami's passing game. Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) will be eligible to return from IR as early as Week 8 against the Cardinals, but it's unclear when Miami anticipates the franchise quarterback retaking the field. If one of Huntley, Tim Boyle or Skylar Thompson (ribs) is again under center versus Arizona, it will be difficult to trust any of the Dolphins' pass catchers for fantasy purposes.
