  • Varsho went 4-for-5 with two home runs, two doubles, four RBI and four runs scored in Sunday's 13-7 win over the Yankees in Game 2 of the ALDS. Varsho was unstoppable in Game 2, knocking doubles in the second and third frames before launching a two-run homer in the bottom of the fourth. He later added a solo home run in the sixth inning, which was his final hit of the day. Varsho has come out of the gates red-hot in the postseason, going 6-for-8 with two home runs, four RBI and six runs scored over the first two games of the ALDS.

  • Varsho went 2-for-4 with a grand slam in Thursday's 6-1 win over the Red Sox. Varsho provided a majority of the game's offense, crushing a 371-foot shot off Justin Wilson in the sixth inning to put Toronto ahead for good. The homer was the outfielder's 20th of the season and his fifth in September, marking the third time in the last four years he's reached the 20-homer mark. The 29-year-old is up to a .237/.286/.559 slash line with 12 doubles, 55 RBI and 40 runs across 259 plate appearances.

  • Varsho is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rays. With lefty Ian Seymour on the hill for Tampa Bay, Varsho will be joined on the bench by fellow left-handed batters Nathan Lukes, Joey Loperfido and Andres Gimenez as the Blue Jays stack the lineup with right-handed bats. Myles Straw will spell Varsho in center field.

  • Varsho is absent from the lineup for Friday's game versus the Orioles. The left-handed-hitting Varsho will take a seat as the Orioles send southpaw Trevor Rogers to the bump. Varsho -- who is slashing just .162/.238/.162 against lefties this season -- will yield center field to Myles Straw.

  • Varsho is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees. After starting the last four games, Varsho will head to the bench for the series finale while the Yankees send southpaw Max Fried to the bump. Myles Straw will replace Varsho in center field and bat ninth.
