Selby was recalled from Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday. Selby has a 4.24 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, 26 strikeouts and four saves in 17 innings for Norfolk. The 26-year-old righty has good stuff and was acquired by Baltimore from Kansas City in July for cash.

The Orioles optioned Selby to Triple-A Norfolk on Thursday. Selby tossed three scoreless frames over two appearances during his brief time with Baltimore. He could get another look later this season but for now will be replaced with fresh bullpen help.

The Royals traded Selby to the Orioles on Thursday in exchange for cash, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports. Selby will remain in Triple-A upon joining his new organization, though he will once again hold a spot on a 40-man roster. The 26-year-old righty was DFA'd by Kansas City on Saturday after putting up a 6.23 ERA and 1.18 WHIP over 21.2 innings with Triple-A Omaha, and he'll fill in as organizational depth for the O's. Kyle Bradish (elbow) was moved to the 60-day IL in order to clear space on Baltimore's 40-man roster.

The Royals optioned Selby to Triple-A Omaha on Sunday. After being acquired from the Pirates on April 7, Selby was summoned from Triple-A on Tuesday and was able to make his Royals debut during his brief stint with the big club. He made two appearances out of the Kansas City bullpen, giving up three runs (two earned) on two hits and two walks over three innings in back-to-back appearances versus the Rangers on Friday and Saturday.

The Royals recalled Selby from Triple-A Omaha on Tuesday. The right-hander was acquired from the Pirates in early April and will now receive his first look with the Royals. Selby appeared in 21 games (five starts) for Pittsburgh last season and had a 9.00 ERA, 1.83 WHIP and 30:15 K:BB across 24 innings.
