Jeffers went 3-for-4 with an RBI double, a stolen base and a walk in Sunday's extra-inning loss to Philadelphia. Jeffers singled and stole his first and only base of the year in the fourth inning before knocking an RBI double in the sixth. He produced two straight multi-hit performances to end the year, but he also finished with an 18-game homerless drought. Jeffers hit .266 with a .753 OPS, 35 extra-base hits and 47 RBI through 464 plate appearances.

Jeffers is absent from the lineup for Thursday's game versus the Rangers. Jeffers started each of the last two games after being activated from the 7-day injured list, but he'll grab a seat for Thursday's matinee. Christian Vazquez will be behind the dish and bat ninth for the Twins.

The Twins activated Jeffers (concussion) from the 7-day injured list Tuesday. Jeffers had been sidelined since Sept. 4 but is back in the lineup Tuesday against the Rangers and is batting third as the designated hitter. On the season, Jeffers is slashing .262/.353/.394 with nine home runs, 44 RBI, 47 runs scored and a 48:86 BB:K across 442 plate appearances. Jeffers' power numbers have taken a big dip after he clubbed 21 home runs over 465 trips to the plate in 2024.

Jeffers (concussion) will travel with the Twins on their final road trip this week but has yet to be cleared to play in games, MLB.com reports. Jeffers has been sidelined for the past two-plus weeks with a concussion. He has been able to go through most baseball activities, but Jeffers has yet to clear concussion protocol and it's uncertain whether that will happen before the end of the regular season. If Jeffers is unable to make it back this week, Christian Vazquez -- who was activated from the 10-day injured list Monday -- will serve as the Twins' primary catcher.

Jeffers (head) is not in Saturday's lineup against the Royals. Jeffers was removed from the game Thursday after taking a foul ball off his mask. With Jeffers needing at least another day to recover, Mickey Gasper is behind the dish at catcher and batting seventh.
