Feduccia is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports. Feduccia is on the bench for the third time in four games and for the second time in three matchups versus a right-handed starting pitcher (Kevin Gausman). Nick Fortes appears to have at least moved into a timeshare with Feduccia, if he hasn't already overtaken him as the Rays' preferred option behind the plate.

Feduccia is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Blue Jays, Ryan Bass of FanDuel Sports Network Sun reports. After taking a seat against Cubs lefty Shota Imanaga in Sunday's 4-3 loss, the left-handed-hitting Feduccia will now give way to Nick Fortes behind the plate while the Rays face off against a right-hander (Trey Yesavage) in the series opener. Feduccia is batting just .156 since being acquired from the Dodgers at the trade deadline and could be at risk of losing out on his strong-side platoon role at catcher.

Feduccia is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cubs. He'll give way to Nick Fortes behind the plate for the matinee contest after he started at catcher in Saturday's 5-4 win. Since being acquired from the Dodgers on July 30 and being called up to the majors a few days later, Feduccia has slashed .156/.273/.203 over 28 games with Tampa Bay.

Feduccia is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's contest against the Angels. Feduccia and Nick Fortes have split the Rays' catching duties evenly since the former was added to the roster this past Friday. Fortes will be behind the dish and bat ninth in Wednesday's series finale.

The Rays recalled Feduccia from Triple-A Durham on Friday. Feduccia will join the Rays to provide some much-needed offensive help behind the plate after logging an .866 OPS in 333 plate appearances with the Dodgers' Triple-A affiliate in Los Angeles prior to being dealt to Tampa Bay ahead of Thursday's trade deadline. Now that he's up with the big club, the 28-year-old will most likely work in the strong side of a platoon at catcher with Nick Fortes.
