  • Rockies' Owen Miller: Back with Rockies
    By RotoWire

Miller signed a minor-league contract with the Rockies on Wednesday. After testing his value in the open market, Miller will return to the Rockies on a minor-league deal after being DFA'd by the club May 16. The 28-year-old owns a .694 OPS through 90 plate appearances at Triple-A Albuquerque, but the current state of the Rockies' offense leaves the door open for Miller to return to Colorado at some point.

  • Owen Miller: Elects free agency
    By RotoWire

Miller elected to become a free agent Tuesday. Miller cleared waivers after being removed from the Rockies' 40-man roster and has decided to look for a job elsewhere rather than accept an outright assignment. The 28-year-old went 2-for-14 during his brief time in Colorado.

The Rockies outrighted Miller to Triple-A Albuquerque on Monday. Miller was designated for assignment Friday and will now report to Triple-A after failing to draw interest on waivers. He never got going at the dish in his latest MLB stint, going 2-for-14 with one RBI and one stolen base in nine games.

  • The Rockies selected Miller's contract from Triple-A Albuquerque on Friday. Miller has slashed .244/.322/.372 with two homers, 13 RBI and 14 runs scored across 90 plate appearances this season in Triple-A, and he'll now be called upon to give the Rockies a bench piece capable of playing all over the infield and in the corner outfield spots. He'll replace Braxton Fulford on the big-league roster and take the 40-man spot of Thairo Estrada (wrist), who was shifted to the 60-day IL.

  • Rockies' Owen Miller: Shipped to Colorado
    By RotoWire

The Brewers traded Miller to the Rockies on Saturday in exchange for cash, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. Miller spent the majority of 2024 with Triple-A Nashville, where he slashed .274/.353/.382 with 36 RBI across 385 plate appearances. He'll have a better chance of getting back to the majors as part of the Rockies organization, though he will first need to be added to the 40-man roster.
