  • Reds' Luis Mey: Optioned to Louisville
    By RotoWire

The Reds optioned Mey to Triple-A Louisville on Thursday, Gordon Wittenmyer of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports. Mey has managed to hold the opposition to one run over 6.2 innings during his latest stint in the majors, but that's in spite of nine hits and seven walks. The Reds will announce a corresponding roster move prior to Friday's game in Arizona.

  • Reds' Luis Mey: Back with big club
    By RotoWire

The Reds recalled Mey from Triple-A Louisville on Wednesday. He will take the roster spot vacated by left-hander Taylor Rogers, who was traded to the Pirates on Wednesday. Mey's stay in the big leagues could be brief, as the Reds will need to free another spot on the 26-man active roster once the newly-acquired Ke'Bryan Hayes officially reports to the club.

  • Reds' Luis Mey: Returns to minors
    By RotoWire

The Reds optioned Mey to Triple-A Louisville on Saturday. Mey was called up Friday after fellow reliever Scott Barlow was placed on the paternity list, but with Barlow back with the club Saturday, Mey is heading back to Louisville. The righty didn't get into Friday's contest but has a good chance of being back with the big club at some point later this season if a spot in the bullpen opens up.

The Reds recalled Mey from Triple-A Louisville on Friday. He'll fill in for Scott Barlow (paternity) in the Reds bullpen. Mey has appeared in 15 games with Cincinnati, logging a 4.40 ERA and 15:10 K:BB across 14.1 innings. He has posted a 2.84 ERA in 25 innings at Triple-A.

  • Reds' Luis Mey: Sent back to Louisville
    By RotoWire

The Reds optioned Mey to Triple-A Louisville on Thursday. After starting his MLB career with a 1.80 ERA and 0.90 WHIP through 10 innings, Mey has given up four earned runs in three frames across his last three appearances. He'll now head back to the minor leagues in order to right the ship, and the Reds will presumably make a corresponding addition to their bullpen ahead of Friday's series opener against the Cubs.
