  The Rockies reinstated Amador (oblique) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday and optioned him to Double-A Hartford. Amador has been playing in rehab games with Hartford while working his way back from a right oblique strain, and he will remain with the Yard Goats now that he's made a full recovery. The 21-year-old went just 6-for-35 (.171) during his first career stint in the majors, and with a .659 OPS through 213 Double-A plate appearances, he clearly still needs more time to develop before he's ready for a more permanent role on the Rockies.

  Amador (oblique) was sent to Double-A Hartford on Sunday to begin a rehab assignment. Amador has been on the 10-day injured list for a little over a week with a strained oblique but has been cleared to return to game action. He should be ready to be activated soon, but with Brendan Rodgers beating him back from the IL, Amador is likely to remain with Hartford upon his activation rather than returning to the Rockies.

  Amador (oblique) was placed on the 10-day injured list Friday. Amador suffered a right oblique strain in Thursday's game against the Dodgers, a injury similar to one he sustained earlier in the season at Double-A Hartford. Considering Brendan Rodgers (hamstring) is coming off the IL and Amador put up a .394 OPS in 10 big-league games, the 21-year-old doesn't have a clear path to at-bats in Colorado once he gets healthy.

  Amador will be placed on the injured list Friday with a right oblique strain, Patrick Lyons of JustBaseball.com reports. Amador's move to the injured list comes as Brendan Rodgers gets activated from the IL, meaning the rookie's playing time was coming to an end regardless. The 21-year-old Amador appeared in 10 games with the Rockies but struggled to a .171/.194/.200 slash line with a stolen base. While it's unclear how long he'll be sidelined, there is optimism that his recovery will be quick.

  Amador (oblique) is not in the lineup for Friday's game versus the Nationals. Amador had to be pulled from Thursday's game against the Dodgers with a mild oblique issue. It seems at this point to be more of a day-to-day situation, but between the injury, his slow start and Brendan Rodgers (hamstring) being due back soon, Amador looks like an easy drop in most redraft leagues.
