Locklear went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during Sunday's 5-0 win over the Rangers.

Locklear has safely reached base in five consecutive games and has generated a hit in six of his eight big-league contests. The 23-year-old chipped in a solo home run off Jose Leclerc in the seventh inning, marking Locklear's second homer since being called up June 8. Locklear has started in all but one of Seattle's games since his promotion, filling in at first base for Ty France (heel), who's expected to return from the IL as soon as Tuesday.

Vaughn went 3-for-5 with a two-RBI single, an RBI groundout and a run scored during Sunday's 12-5 loss to Arizona.

Vaughn participated in four of the White Sox's five runs, most of which came during the ninth inning when Vaughn plated Tommy Pham and Martin Maldonado with a single before coming around to score himself. On the year, Vaughn is slashing .234/.289/.391, each of which would be a career low. However, he's been hot during June, batting .364 with five homers, 12 RBI and 12 runs.

Rizzo (arm) suffered a right lower-arm injury in Sunday's 9-3 loss to the Red Sox, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.

Rizzo went down in a heap after a collision with Boston reliever Brennan Bernardino at first base in the top of the seventh inning, suffering an apparent right arm injury. The first baseman will see the team doctors and undergo imaging to determine the severity of the injury in New York on Monday.

Schanuel went 1-for-2 with a solo homer, two walks and two runs scored in Sunday's loss to the Giants.

Schanuel belted a solo shot in the second inning for his seventh home run of the year and third in his last 10 games. However, he's gone just 8-for-34 (.235) during that span. Sunday was Schanuel's third straight game with multiple walks. He's now slashing .219/.301/.348 with 13 extra-base hits and 23 RBI through 63 games.

Rizzo (undisclosed) exited Sunday's contest against the Red Sox in the top of the seventh inning, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.

Rizzo collided with Red Sox pitcher Brennan Bernardino while trying to leg out a hit, landing on his right hand/wrist. Oswaldo Cabrera replaced him in the game. More information on Rizzo's status will likely come following the conclusion of the contest.

Locklear went 0-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in a loss to the Rangers on Saturday.

The rookie was able to reach safely for the fourth consecutive game despite not getting a hit for the first time in that span, and he parlayed his one trip on the basepaths into his first career big-league steal. Locklear is still having trouble making consistent contact as he acclimates to major-league arms -- he's struck out at a massive 40.0 percent clip in his first 25 plate appearances -- but his impressive body of work at the plate over multiple levels of the minors suggests he has the ability to progressively turn things around in that department.

Vaughn went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Saturday's win over the Diamondbacks.

Vaughn drove home Chicago's first run of the game with an RBI single in the third before adding a two-run shot in the fifth, boosting the team's lead to three runs. It marked the first baseman's fifth long ball in his last 10 games, and he's now batting .340 in June with nine RBI and 11 runs scored. Vaughn has also recorded multiple hits in four of his last six contests.

Diaz went 1-for-4 with a walk Saturday against Atlanta.

Diaz extended his hitting streak to nine games with the performance, during which he's collected multiple hits on five occasions. He's hitting .359 in that span, though his production has otherwise been empty as he has zero extra-base hits, one RBI and three runs scored. Diaz has managed only a .094 ISO across 309 plate appearances for the campaign, so his lack of power has not been a short-term issue.

Smith is not in the starting lineup Saturday versus the Yankees, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.

Smith will take a seat as the Red Sox face left-hander Carlos Rodon on the mound. Bobby Dalbec will draw the start at first base and bat eighth against New York.

Singleton is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Tigers but should get most of the at-bats at first base following the release of Jose Abreu, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

With Abreu off the roster, Singleton should be the starter at first base for the Astros, but he'll take a seat Friday with lefty Tarik Skubal on the mound for Detroit. General manager Dana Brown indicated Friday that Houston could look to acquire another first baseman unless Singleton "takes the bull by the horn," but the 32-year-old is slashing only .213/.316/.333 on the year. Mauricio Dubon will play first base and bat sixth Friday.
