Kirilloff is absent from the lineup for Tuesday's contest versus the Rays.

The Twins will turn to Donovan Solano at first base against right-hander Zack Littell. Kirilloff has now started three of five games since returning from the injured list, although this is the first one he's sat out versus a righty.

The Yankees transferred Rizzo (concussion) from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Tuesday, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.

The transaction frees up a spot on the 40-man roster for the addition of right-hander Zach McAllister, whose contract was selected from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Rizzo had already been ruled out for the season as he continues to recover from concussion symptoms.

Noda went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a 4-0 victory versus the Astros on Monday.

Noda struck out in each of his first three plate appearances but finished on a high note with a 400-foot solo homer in the ninth inning. The stat line is pretty indicative of his season as a whole -- of Noda's 81 hits, 36 have been for extra bases (including 15 homers), but he's also struck out 138 times in 423 plate appearances. Noda has fanned 14 times through 10 contests in September, but he's managed a decent .270 batting average along with three homers, eight runs and seven RBI.

Naylor went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and a double in Monday's 5-4 extra-inning loss to the Giants.

Naylor has hit safely in his last five games, going 6-for-16 (.375) with two homers and seven RBI in that span. He gave the Guardians a short-lived 2-1 lead with his third-inning blast Monday. For the season, the first baseman has 17 homers, 87 RBI, 27 doubles, 43 runs scored, seven stolen bases and a .307/.349/.509 slash line over 104 contests. He's been one of Cleveland's top hitters throughout the year and should see a near-everyday role over the last three weeks of the campaign.

Schanuel went 2-for-6 with one RBI in Monday's 8-5 extra-innings win over the Mariners.

Schanuel was sidelined with shoulder soreness over the weekend. He hit leadoff and played the full 11-inning game at first base in his return to the lineup. The 21-year-old rookie has hit .275 with three RBI, 13 runs scored and a 14:11 BB:K over his first 18 contests, but he has just one extra-base hit, a double, to his name.

Diaz went 4-for-6 with a home run, a double and two runs scored in Monday's win over the Twins.

Diaz scored a run in the first inning but did most of his damage with a solo shot in the sixth. It was his third straight multi-hit game and he reached the 20-homer mark for the first time in his career. Since the start of August, he's gone 47-for-138 (.341) with six homers, raising his season slash line to .324/.404/.513 through 545 plate appearances.

Schanuel (shoulder) is in the lineup for Monday's game against the Mariners, Erica Weston of Bally Sports West reports.

A sore shoulder prevented Schanuel from seeing any action Saturday or Sunday, but he has put that behind him and will lead off like he usually does Monday night.

Casas went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk in Sunday's 7-3 win against Baltimore.

The 23-year-old went 0-for-9 across the first two games of the series to snap a 10-game hit streak, but he found his power stroke during the sixth inning Sunday to give the Red Sox some breathing room. Casas has an .893 OPS through nine games in September and has a .263/.365/.494 slash line with 24 homers, 64 RBI and 65 runs in 485 plate appearances for the season.

Noda went 2-for-4 with a walk and a run in a loss to the Rangers on Sunday.

Noda extended his modest hitting streak to three games with Sunday's multi-hit effort, his first since Sept. 1. The rookie is heading into the final stretch of the regular season with some solid momentum, having posted a .273/.385/.839 slash line with six extra-base hits and 10 RBI across the 19 games he's played since returning from an injured list stint due to a jaw fracture. Noda has also encouragingly demonstrated an improvement in his ability to make consistent contact during that sample -- he posted a 32.5 percent strikeout rate in the first 100 games of the season, but he's cut that figure down to 24.4 percent since his IL return.

Torkelson went 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored and two RBI in Sunday's 3-2 win over the White Sox.

Torkelson has done much of his damage this year with the long ball, but he managed to make an impact Sunday without going deep. The youngster is off to a good start this month, batting .333 in September with six extra-base hits and nine RBI in just nine games. Torkelson seems primed to finish his second MLB campaign on a high note over the next few weeks.
