C.J. Cron 1B | BOS
Twins' C.J. Cron: Out of lineup
Cron is not in the lineup Tuesday against Toronto.
Cron has gone just 2-for-26 at the plate in his last nine games. Marwin Gonzalez slides across the diamond to first base in his absence, with Ehire Adrianza entering the lineup in third base.

Nate Lowe 1B | CIN
Rays' Nate Lowe: Laces two-bagger in win
Lowe went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk and two runs in a win over the Diamondbacks on Monday.
Lowe contributed one of four multi-hit efforts for the Rays in an auspicious night for the offense. The rookie has now hit safely in six of his first seven big-league contests, although Monday's two-bagger marked his first extra-base hit since his April 29 debut.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 1B | TOR
Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero Jr.: Slow start to MLB career
Guerrero went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts and committed an error in Tuesday's 8-0 loss to the Twins.
Baseball's No. 1 prospect has looked mortal through his first nine games in the big leagues, recording only five hits in 33 at-bats while striking out 27 percent of the time. Given Guerrero's elite hit and power tools and the unprecedented level of success he enjoyed in the upper rungs of the minors, it should be just a matter of time before he makes the necessary adjustments to big-league pitching.

Luke Voit 1B | NYM
Yankees' Luke Voit: Cranks 10th homer
Voit went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in the Yankees' 7-3 win over the Mariners on Monday.
That's now 10 homers for Voit, who touched up Felix Hernandez with a two-run shot in the first inning to get the Yankees rolling. He continues to impress early in the season, as the 28-year-old now boasts a .260/.373/.520 slash line through 127 at-bats.

Matt Olson 1B | ATL
Athletics' Matt Olson: Returning from IL on Tuesday
Olson (hand) will be activated from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Olson has been cleared to rejoin the A's ahead of Tuesday's game against the Reds after completing a five-game rehab stint with Triple-A Las Vegas, during which he went 4-for-22 (.182) with a homer and two RBI. To make room for Olson, the Athletics are expected to designate Kendrys Morales for assignment. Look for Olson to immediately reclaim his role as the team's primary first baseman, though he may be eased back into action given the extended length of his absence.

Asdrubal Cabrera 1B | CIN
Rangers' Asdrubal Cabrera: Plates four to close out series
Cabrera went 2-for-4 with his seventh home run of the season, four RBI and two runs in Sunday's 10-2 win over the Blue Jays.
Cabrera kicked off the scoring for the afternoon with an RBI double in the bottom of the second, then plated three more runs when he took Clay Buchholz deep an inning later. While Cabrera's .263 ISO would be a career-high mark, an uptick in his strikeout rate (23.6 percent) along with a deflated .234 BABIP has limited him to a .232 average thus far. Unless Cabrera adjusts his plate approach and trades more fly balls for line drives, his batting-average floor may be lower than his investors anticipated heading into draft day.

Matt Olson 1B | ATL
Athletics' Matt Olson: Pair of hits in rehab
Olson (hand) went 2-for-5 with an RBI single and two runs in Triple-A Las Vegas' win over Fresno on Sunday.
Olson has now hit safely in three straight rehab games and has a pair of RBI during that stretch. The 25-year-old is likely to be evaluated Monday for a possible activation Tuesday.

Jose Abreu 1B | HOU
White Sox's Jose Abreu: Clubs eighth homer
Abreu went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 9-2 loss to the Red Sox.
Abreu tied the ballgame in the sixth inning with a solo blast to center, but Boston would erupt for seven runs in the eighth to take the series finale. The 32-year-old continues to swing a hot bat, improving his average from .218 to .291 while slugging four homers and notching 16 RBI over his last 11 games.
-
Brandon Dixon 1B | SD
Tigers' Brandon Dixon: Hits first homer
Dixon went 1-for-2 with a walk-off three-run home run in a 5-2 victory against the Royals on Sunday.
The 27-year-old entered the game in the eighth as a pinch hitter and then went deep in his second at-bat. It was his first hit in 13 at-bats and first homer of the year. Dixon is 7-for-24 (.292) with three extra-base hits, seven RBI and one run in nine games this season.

Nate Lowe 1B | CIN
Rays' Nate Lowe: Benched vs. lefty
Lowe is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
The lefty-hitting rookie checks out of the lineup for the first time since being promoted to the big leagues with southpaw John Means on the bump for Baltimore. After recording exactly one hit in each of his first five contests in the majors, Lowe saw the streak end with an 0-for-4 showing Saturday while Orioles starter Dylan Bundy twirled a gem.
