Olson left Thursday's 5-4 loss to the Mariners in the sixth inning with right hand pain, Jane Lee of MLB.com reports. He went 1-for-2 with a run scored before departing.

The Athletics aren't likely to provide an update on the severity of Olson's injury until he's re-evaluated in California when the team arrives back from Japan. According to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle, Olson experienced the pain in his hand after fouling off a pitch and had difficulty gripping the bat, which suggests his injury may be more than a day-to-day concern. If Olson is forced to miss time, Mark Canha or Chad Pinder could be in line for more action at first base.

The Twins will start breaking Kirilloff in at first base this season, Twins Daily reports.

This makes all the sense in the world, as Kirilloff has filled out since his days as an amateur and the Twins have a crowded outfield already, without factoring in last year's first-round pick Trevor Larnach, who is a corner outfielder/designated hitter and on the fast track to the majors. A move to first base does not negatively impact Kirilloff's fantasy stock.

Abreu started at designated hitter and went 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI in Tuesday's game against the Reds.

Abreu is cruising through the Cactus League with a .333 average (15-for-45) to go along with his four home runs and 14 RBI over 15 games. The 32-year-old is coming off MLB-career lows in games (128), homers (22) and RBI (78) in 2018, and the White Sox hope to coax more at-bats and production out of him this season by giving Abreu more starts as the designated hitter.

Cabrera went 1-for-3 with a walk against the Dodgers on Monday and is hitting .387 (12-for-31) over 13 spring games.

Cabrera, who batted out of the five hole Monday, has been a constant presence in the middle of Texas' order during Cactus League games. The Rangers feel confident in his ability to handle the transition to being the everyday third baseman. A sign of that was when they sent Patrick Wisdom to Triple-A Nashville earlier this week. At some point, the 33-year-old may slow down, but he's played no fewer than 135 games (540 plate appearances) since 2011.

Voit went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and two strikeouts Monday against the Braves.

Voit took Bryse Wilson deep for his fourth homer of the spring in the second inning. Voit continues to hit well, going 10-for-34 and slugging .676 in Grapefruit League action. Though he has been locked in a battle with Greg Bird to be the Yankees' starting first baseman, Aaron Hicks' (shoulder) injury will likely give both Bird and Voit the chance to break camp on the big-league roster.

The Red Sox reassigned Dalbec to their minor-league camp Monday, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.

One of Boston's top position prospects, Dalbec didn't make much of a mark during Grapefruit League play, going 6-for-30 with no home runs and nine strikeouts. Despite the lack of long balls this spring, Dalbec remains a high-end power hitter and is coming off a huge season split between Double-A Portland and High-A Salem in which he racked up 70 extra-base hits, including 32 home runs. He'll either head back to Portland or move up to Triple-A Pawtucket to begin the season.

Casas went 0-for-1 with a walk and a strikeout in Sunday's game against the Rays.

Casas made his debut in a major-league game, entering in the fifth inning for first baseman Mitch Moreland. Casas was Boston's first-round pick in 2018, then suffered a season-ending thumb injury two games into his professional career. He played third base in high school, but the organization is deep at that position, so expect to see more of the 6-foot-5, 240-pound Casas being exposed to first base.

Tellez went 1-for-2 with a home run off the bench in Sunday's Grapefruit League win over the Twins.

His fourth long ball of the spring broke an 8-8 tie and proved to be the game-winner. Tellez impressed after earning his first callup last September, and he's now batting .295/.326/.591 through 16 spring games, but Mike Wilner of Sportsnet 590 The Fan says Tellez is still likely to start the year at Triple-A, barring injury. There are two paths to playing time for Tellez this season: first base and DH.

The Rays reassigned Lowe to their minor-league camp Saturday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Lowe only went 3-for-34 at the dish during Grapefruit League play, but bashed a pair of towering home runs to offer optimism about his power potential. The 23-year-old is viewed as more of a disciplined, all-fields hitter rather than an all-or-nothing slugger, but that profile is still one that makes him interesting for fantasy purposes. He'll open the season at Triple-A Durham and could debut with the big club at some point in 2019 if the International League doesn't prove too challenging in his second go-around.

Diaz went 2-for-2 with a home run, four RBI and a walk in Friday's game against Detroit.

Diaz plated a run in the fourth inning on a single to right field, and he clubbed a three-run homer in the fifth to give Tampa Bay a four-run lead. The 27-year-old is having a decent camp and has gone 9-for-31 with two home runs, nine RBI and two runs scored thus far.
