Wade (hamstring) is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Reds.

Wade made an early exit from Tuesday's game due to left hamstring cramping and will grab a day of rest and treatment. Wilmer Flores is covering first base and batting third Wednesday at Cincinnati, with Joc Pederson handling leadoff duties.

Young is out of the lineup Wednesday versus the Nationals.

Young is slashing just .171/.256/.371 through 39 major-league plate appearances this season and hasn't started a game for the Cubs since last Friday. The 28-year-old first baseman and corner outfielder could be on the verge of a demotion to Triple-A Iowa.

Hall is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Brewers.

The lefty-hitting Hall sat out both ends of a doubleheader last weekend when the Padres brought a pair of lefty starters to the hill, but he had manned first base in both of the Phillies' last two games against right-handed pitchers. However, Hall will find himself on the bench Wednesday versus righty Colin Rea, allowing Edmundo Sosa to crack the lineup at third base while Alec Bohm shifts over to first.

Cooper is not in the starting lineup Wednesday versus the Cardinals, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Cooper will get a day off after he went 3-for-10 with an RBI and four strikeouts over the first two games of the series. Yuli Gurriel will take over at first base and bat fifth as Miami looks to avoid getting swept by St. Louis.

Flores went 2-for-3 with two homers and five RBI in Tuesday's win over the Reds.

Flores got the scoring started with his first home run, a solo shot off Luke Weaver in the first inning, before tying the game at four with a three-run blast in the third. The 31-year-old Flores is now 5-for-8 with three home runs over his last two games. Since the All-Star break, he's batting .471 (8-for-17) with a 1.650 OPS. Overall, Flores' slash line is up to an impressive .292/.348/.520with 11 homers, 30 RBI and 28 runs scored across 224 plate appearances this season.

Walker went 3-for-5 with a walk, two home runs, a stolen base, three runs scored and five RBI in Tuesday's 16-13 win over Atlanta.

Arizona's one through three hitters went a combined 7-for-16 on the night, and Walker took full advantage of those opportunities from the cleanup spot. The first baseman launched a solo shot off Michael Tonkin in the fourth inning before crushing a three-run blast to left-center field off Ben Heller in the sixth. Walker had been batting just .100 (4-for-40) through his last 11 games in July, but he's up to 20 homers and 63 RBI on the season to go along with a career-high .848 OPS.

Wade left Tuesday's game versus the Reds due to left hamstring cramping, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Wade went 0-for-2 with a strikeout prior to his exit. If he misses time beyond Tuesday, Wilmer Flores will likely pick up playing time at first base. Wade is considered day-to-day for now.

Young is out of the lineup Tuesday against the Nationals.

Trey Mancini will play first base and Yan Gomes will serve as the Cubs' designated hitter versus the Nats and left-hander Patrick Corbin. Young, who also sat out of Monday's series opener, has slashed just .176/.263/.382 through 38 major-league plate appearances this year.

San Diego recalled Rivas from Triple-A El Paso on Tuesday.

Rivas played well in a brief stay on the Padres' major-league roster back in early June and has delivered a stellar .332/.462/.582 batting line with nine homers and eight steals in 58 games this season at the Triple-A level. The 26-year-old might get looks at DH against right-handed pitching after Rougned Odor was designated for assignment Tuesday as part of a parade of roster moves.

The Padres optioned Dixon to Triple-A El Paso on Tuesday.

Dixon has slashed just .203/.244/.329 in 33 major-league games (86 plate appearances) this season. Luis Campusano (thumb) is coming off the 60-day injured list and the Padres have also called up position players Taylor Kohlwey and Alfonso Rivas ahead of Tuesday night's series opener in Toronto.
