Wade left Wednesday's game versus the Rockies with hamstring tightness, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Wade just returned from being held out of the lineup for three games with a side injury, and it appears he's picked up another injury in a season full of them. He went 2-for-3 with two runs scored prior to his exit, lifting his batting average over the Mendoza Line for the first time since Aug. 17. He should be considered day-to-day ahead of Thursday's series finale in Colorado.

Cron left Wednesday's game against the Giants early after being hit by a pitch, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

Cron was replaced by Elehuris Montero after getting hit in the hand by a pitch in the fourth inning. The Rockies are officially calling it a left hand contusion after x-rays came back negative. More updates will come as his status becomes clearer, but for now he should be considered day-to-day.

Steer was removed from Wednesday's lineup against the Red Sox due to an eye infection, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports.

Steer was scratched from the lineup a few hours prior to the start of Wednesday's game, but it's possible that he'll be available off the bench. The 24-year-old should be considered day-to-day for now.

Rivas isn't starting Wednesday against the Marlins.

Rivas has started against just three left-handed pitchers this season, and he'll get a breather with southpaw Jesus Luzardo on the mound Wednesday. P.J. Higgins is starting at first base and batting seventh.

Steer was scratched from the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Red Sox due to an unspecified reason.

Steer had been slated to start at shortstop, but he'll instead be on the bench for the second game in a row, which likely hints that he's dealing with an injury or illness. Stuart Fairchild was added to the starting nine as a replacement of Steer, who can be viewed as day-to-day until the Reds provide an explanation for why the rookie was scratched.

Young went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Marlins.

Getting the start as the designated hitter and batting seventh in his fourth career appearance in the majors, Young swiped his first bag after stealing only three in 108 games at Triple-A Iowa this year. The 27-year-old doesn't have any kind of prospect pedigree after being a 15th-round pick in 2017, but it appears as though the rebuilding Cubs will give him consistent playing time against right-handed pitching over the final days of the season.

Cron went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and two additional RBI in a 6-3 loss to San Francisco on Tuesday.

Cron was responsible for all three of Colorado's runs with a solo home run in the sixth inning and two-run double in the eighth following a first inning single. The long ball is the 32-year-old's 29th of the campaign, which puts him one shy of his career-high of 30 set back in 2018 with Tampa Bay. He's in the midst of a 6-for-10 stretch on the heels of going 2-for-18 over his prior five contests.

Alonso went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer in Tuesday's 7-5 victory over the Brewers.

Alonso took Brad Boxberger deep for a three-run shot in the top of the sixth frame, narrowing the Brewers' lead to 4-3. The long ball was his 37th of the year and sixth of September over 19 games. Alonso has driven in at least one run in eight consecutive games and has now set a career high with 121 RBI in 2022. The first baseman is batting .267 with 37 homers, 121 RBI, 84 runs and five stolen bases over 149 games in his fourth season with the Mets.

Wade isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's game in Colorado, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Wade holds just a .268 OPS when facing left-handed pitching, so it's no surprise to see him out against southpaw Kyle Freeland. Mike Yastrzemski will take Wade's spot in right field, allowing Lewis Brinson to start in center, batting ninth.

Steer is not in Tuesday's lineup against the Red Sox.

Steer is hitting .218/.317/.327 with one home run, 14 strikeouts and eight walks in 16 games since making his MLB debut earlier this month. Donovan Solano will start at first base while batting fifth.
