Alonso had X-rays on his right hand come back negative after leaving Tuesday's game against the Padres, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

The 27-year-old was struck in the right hand by a pitch during the first inning Tuesday, but it appears he's avoided a serious injury, though he's also undergoing an MRI, per Anthony DiComo of MLB.com. Alonso could still need some time to recover from the issue, so it's unclear whether he'll be back in the lineup for Wednesday's series finale.

Alonso was removed from Tuesday's game against San Diego after being hit by a pitch on his right hand, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Alonso was struck in the right hand on a check swing during his first plate appearance Tuesday, and he was replaced by a pinch runner. The 27-year-old is likely to undergo X-rays and should be considered day-to-day until his status is updated.

Wade (knee) received the final synthetic lubricant injection in his left knee Tuesday and will begin a rehab assignment Thursday with Triple-A Sacramento, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.

Wade resumed baseball activities last week and is now entering the final stages of his rehab program after completing the series of synthetic lubricant injections. The 28-year-old has been sidelined nearly three weeks with left knee inflammation, and he also missed the first month of the season while dealing with issues in the same knee.

Montero was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque and is starting at third base against the Giants on Tuesday.

The 23-year-old went 2-for-4 during his big-league debut in early May while briefly up with the Rockies, and he'll rejoin the major-league club ahead of Tuesday's contest. Montero was promoted to the Triple-A level during the 2021 campaign and has a .301/.374/.528 slash line with 17 home runs and 51 RBI in 76 games between the two seasons. Ryan McMahon should remain Colorado's primary third baseman, but Montero should see some time there while also receiving some at-bats at designated hitter.

Rivas is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Orioles.

Rivas is on the bench for the fifth time in six games after producing a lowly .455 OPS dating back to May 1. Frank Schwindel has since recaptured the Cubs' primary first-base job, and the Cubs are likely content to rotate a number of different players at the designated-hitter spot rather than clearing out everyday at-bats for the struggling Rivas.

Alonso went 1-for-4 with a walk and three runs Monday in the Mets' 11-5 win over the Padres.

Teammate Eduardo Escobar stole the show Tuesday by hitting for the cycle and driving in six runs, but Alonso continued his hot start to June. Through six games this month, Alonso has produced an 1.000 OPS while homering three times, driving in seven and scoring eight times. He leads all of baseball with 54 RBI this season and is tied for first in the National League with 16 long balls.

Voit went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run Monday in a loss to the Mets.

The Padres trailed 7-2 entering the bottom of the eighth inning before Voit made things interesting with a three-run shot to center field. The Mets bounced back with four runs of their own in the following frame to put the game out of reach. Despite the loss, Voit continued a recent resurgence that has seen him slash .333/.355/.567 over his past seven games. Strikeouts remain a problem for the slugger, however, as he has fanned 11 times while taking only one walk over that span.

Olson went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run and a walk in Sunday's 8-7 win over the Rockies.

Olson took advantage of the altitude, taking Rockies starter Ryan Feltner deep to center field in the second inning. While he's just 4-for-18 in his last four games, Olson has driven in six runs in that span. The first baseman is slashing .255/.363/.466 with seven homers, 28 RBI, 22 runs scored and 23 doubles through 55 contests. His .211 ISO is the lowest it's been since 2018, but he's likely been a little unlucky to see some hits fall for doubles with a 45 percent hard-hit rate that's not so far off from his 49.2 percent career mark in the category.

Cronenworth went 2-for-4 with a home run, four RBI and a walk in Sunday's 6-4 extra-inning win over the Brewers.

Cronenworth had an RBI single in the fifth inning and a three-run home run in the 10th, with the latter hit giving the Padres enough to win the game. He's now gone deep in consecutive contests after hitting just one long ball in all of May. The versatile infielder is slashing .217/.301/.353 with five homers, 26 RBI, 27 runs scored and no stolen bases through 53 games. He's added nine doubles and two triples while maintaining a consistent place in the starting lineup throughout the year.

Freeman went 2-for-5 with a stolen base in Saturday's loss to the Mets.

The Dodgers got four hits between Mookie Betts and Freeman at the top of the order, but they were unable to keep pace with New York's offense in the loss. This was Freeman's first multi-hit performance since May 26, a span of eight games. He's slashing a healthy .291/.378/.451 with four homers, 19 doubles, 34 runs, 30 RBI and five steals on the season.
