Giants' Wilmer Flores: Out of Wednesday's lineup
Flores is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Diamondbacks, Amy Gutierrez of the Giants' official site reports.
Flores rejoined the lineup Tuesday after sitting out a couple games with back soreness, and he'll return to the bench Wednesday. The 29-year-old has an .871 OPS with five homers, nine RBI and 10 runs in 18 games since the All-Star break. However, his playing time could take a slight dip with Tommy La Stella (hamstring) making his return from the 60-day injured list.

LaMonte Wade 1B | CHW
Giants' LaMonte Wade: Returns to lineup Wednesday
Wade (back) is batting leadoff and playing first base Wednesday against the Diamondbacks, Amy Gutierrez of the Giants' official site reports.
The 27-year-old had missed a couple of games with lower back tightness, which removed him from Sunday's contest. Wade has hit .281 with four home runs and nine RBI in his last 10 games.

Brewers' Rowdy Tellez: Swats go-ahead homer
Tellez hit a three-run home run in his only at-bat during Wednesday's 4-2 win over Pittsburgh.
The 26-year-old wasn't in Wednesday's lineup, but he delivered a go-ahead blast in the seventh inning when he pinch hit for pitcher Brent Suter. Tellez is up to nine homers, 24 RBI, 22 runs scored and a .748 OPS through 215 plate appearances between Milwaukee and Toronto this year. He's consistently been in the lineup versus right-handed pitching, but he's likely to remain limited to a strong-side platoon role with Eduardo Escobar shifting over to first base against southpaws.

Diamondbacks' Christian Walker: Not starting Wednesday
Walker isn't starting Wednesday's game against the Giants.
Walker will get a day off after he went 4-for-13 with a double, two RBI, a run and four strikeouts across the last three games. Asdrubal Cabrera will shift to first base while Drew Ellis draws the start at the hot corner.

Tellez isn't starting Wednesday against the Pirates.

C.J. Cron 1B | BOS
Rockies' C.J. Cron: Totals three hits in win
Cron went 3-for-4 with three RBI and a walk in a 13-6 rout of the Cubs on Tuesday.
Cron reached base four times in the contest, the third time he has accomplished that feat this season. The slugger knocked in two runs with a single in the sixth inning and plated another with a single in the eighth. The big performance was a welcome sign, as Cron entered the contest batting just .152 (7-for-46) since the All-Star break.

Freddie Freeman 1B | LAD
Braves' Freddie Freeman: Slugs homer among three hits
Freeman went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 6-1 win over the Cardinals.
The reigning NL MVP helped Atlanta get off to a fast start Tuesday by singling and scoring in the first inning. Freeman followed by slamming a solo shot to right field in the second frame. The long ball was his 23rd of the campaign but his first since July 24. Freeman had been quiet over his previous nine games entering Tuesday, batting just .242 with no extra-base hits and only one RBI.

Keston Hiura 2B | LAD
Brewers' Keston Hiura: On COVID IL at Triple-A
Hiura is on the COVID-19 injured list at Triple-A Nashville.
He has not appeared in a game since being optioned to Triple-A on July 30. There was no room for him to get playing time on the big-league roster, particularly after the acquisitions of Rowdy Tellez and Eduardo Escobar, so he shouldn't be expected to return to the majors anytime soon.

Wilmer Flores 1B | SF
Giants' Wilmer Flores: In Tuesday's lineup
Flores (back) is batting cleanup and playing third base Tuesday against the Diamondbacks, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
The infielder returns to the lineup for the first time since Saturday, when he exited the contest with lower-back soreness. Flores did enter Monday's extra-inning contest for three at-bats, one of which resulted in a home run. With two home runs in his last three games, Flores has hit 14 this season and is approaching his career-high mark of 18.
