Calhoun is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

Though Arizona included Calhoun in its initial lineup for Sunday, he'll end up heading to the bench in what's believed to be an extended rest for the veteran ahead of Monday's team off day. Pavin Smith will cover right field in place of Calhoun.

Bell is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Bell will give way to Ryan Zimmerman at first base after starting in each of the first three games of the series. Since being activated from the COVID-19 injured list Monday, Bell has started in five of the Nationals' seven games, going 2-for-19 with four runs and two RBI.

Vaughn is out of the lineup for Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader at Boston.

Vaughn is 4-for-25 with 10 strikeouts to open the season and will take a seat for Sunday's matinee. Jake Lamb will receive the start in left field for the White Sox in Game 1.

Naylor is not in the lineup for Sunday's game at Cincinnati.

Naylor has a .255/.286/.340 slash line through 13 games and will take a seat Sunday with lefty Wade Miley starting for the Reds. Franmil Reyes will start in right field since Cleveland won't have a designated hitter in a National League park.

Abreu went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Saturday's 7-4 loss to the Red Sox.

White Sox manager Tony La Russa switched Abreu (fourth) and Yoan Moncada (third) in the batting order from the spots they held all season, and the move paid off immediately. After Adam Eaton and Moncada walked in the first inning, Abreu plated Eaton with a double and Moncada came in on a groundout. Abreu had gone seven consecutive games without a run batted in.

Calhoun went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Saturday's 6-2 loss to Washington.

Calhoun belted his first homer of the season during the third inning, which tied the game briefly before the Nationals plated three in the fourth. The right fielder has hit safely in five of six games since coming off a season-opening stay on the injured list.

Bohm went 1-for-4 with two RBI in Saturday's loss against the Cardinals.

Bohm might have recorded just one hit, but it accounted for half of the Phillies' offense -- he drove in two with an RBI single that scored Rhys Hoskins and J.T. Realmuto. The third baseman has hit safely in five of the team's last six games.

Hoskins went 3-for-5 with a double and three runs scored in Saturday's loss against the Cardinals.

Hoskins bounced back in a big way in this one, as he entered this game in a struggling 1-for-14 stretch that also included five strikeouts. The 28-year-old is hitting .273, but this game might be the confidence booster he was needing after recording just two hits in his previous seven games.

Alonso went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Rockies.

The first baseman connected on his second homer of the year in the sixth inning off Mychal Givens. Alonso struck out in all three at-bats in the nightcap and overall has had a slow start to the year, with his slash line sitting at .222/.293/.444 after Saturday's long ball.

Olson went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and two runs scored in Saturday's 7-0 win over the Tigers.

Olson got the Athletics on the board with a 438-foot shot to right field in the first inning -- one of three long balls Oakland hit off Detroit starter Casey Mize. He is tied for the team lead with three home runs and has also knocked in eight runs. Olson has gone 8-for-20 with all three of his homers over his past six games.
