The homer was his sixth of the season, but his first since Aug. 17. Cabrera has cooled down significantly has a strong start, slashing .194/.274/.292 over his last 20 games.

Bohm went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and a walk in an 8-1 loss to the Marlins in Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader.

Bohm went deep in the second inning off Marlins starter Braxton Garrett, but that was the only run the Phillies could muster. Bohm also went 1-for-3 with a double and a run scored in the first game of the twin bill. The 24-year-old is slashing .330/.381/.500 with three homers, 19 RBI and 15 runs scored through 30 games in his rookie year.

Santana went 3-for-5 with two RBI in Sunday's 7-5 loss to Minnesota.

With three singles Sunday, Santana registered his first multi-hit game since Sep. 6 and has just two this month. The 34-year-old slugger owns an unsightly .692 OPS with 23 RBI on the season.

Hoskins' recent X-ray came back negative, and he will undergo an MRI on his forearm, Meghan Montemurro of The Athletic reports.

Hoskins was initially believed to have a wrist injury, but he's apparently dealing with forearm soreness. He sustained the injury Saturday while trying to make a catch, and he sat out both games of Sunday's doubleheader as he recovers. While it's encouraging that his X-ray was negative, Hoskins' MRI should help determine how soon he could return to action.

Solano isn't starting Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader against the Padres, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Solano went 0-for-3 during Sunday's matinee, and he'll take a seat for the second game. Wilmer Flores will take over at second base.

Gurriel is being held out of Sunday's lineup against the Dodgers after hurting his hand while attempting to steal a base Saturday, Jake Kaplan of The Athletic reports.

Gurriel is sitting after starting the past six games for the Astros, and manager Dusty Baker said that he's being held out due to an injury. Baker said that he doesn't think the injury will warrant a stint on the injured list. Gurriel will get to recover Monday as the Astros have a day off.

Gurriel is not in the lineup Sunday against the Dodgers, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Gurriel started the past six games and will head to the bench after going 4-for-20 with one homer and five RBI during that stretch. Abraham Toro receives the start at first base in his place.

Hoskins is out of the lineup for Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader against the Marlins with an apparent wrist injury, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

The team never announced the injury, but Hoskins appeared to tweak his wrist Saturday and didn't start either of Sunday's games. The Phillies should provide more information after the nightcap. Phil Gosselin receives another start at first base in his place.

Flores is out of the lineup for Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader against the Padres, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Flores started the last nine games and went 11-for-33 with one homer, six doubles, seven runs and five RBI during that stretch, but he'll head to the bench for the matinee. Justin Smoak will bat sixth as the designated hitter in Game 1.

Hoskins is out of the lineup for Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader at Miami, Matt Breen of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Hoskins started the past 11 games but will take a seat after going 9-for-47 with four homers and 17 strikeouts during that stretch. There's been no indication of an injury, so the 27-year-old figures to be back in the lineup for the nightcap. Phil Gosselin will start at first base in the matinee.
