Hiura went 2-for-6 in Thursday's win over the White Sox.

Hiura has been one of the few productive bats in the Brewers lineup to start the season, and he is currently riding a two-game hitting streak while reaching base in nine straight contests. He has slashed .278/.357/.472 with three extra-base hits, five RBI, three runs scored and a stolen base during that nine-game stretch.

Walker went 1-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Thursday's 5-4 win over the Astros.

Walker was in the middle of a three-run sixth inning, plating a run with a double and later scoring. It was his league-leading seventh double of the season. Walker, who had a groin injury late in summer camp that limited his ability to play the field, started a fourth consecutive game at first base.

Santana went 0-for-1 with four walks, an RBI and a run scored in Thursday's 13-0 win over the Reds.

Now in his 11th big-league season, Santana remains an on-base machine. He leads the majors with 15 walks. Santana is also striking out a lot lately (10 strikeouts in his last seven games) and he still sits with just one homer, but that same discerning eye is there and the track record should buy him a lot of time on fantasy rosters.

Calhoun went 1-for-5 with a walk-off single and two RBI on Thursday against the Astros.

Calhoun stepped up to the plate in the ninth inning with the bases loaded and Arizona trailing 4-3. The 32-year-old cranked a two-run single, driving home Tim Locastro and Nick Ahmed to help the Diamondbacks secure their first series win of the season. Calhoun has now extended his hitting streak to five games while batting .214 on the year with a pair of home runs.

Naylor was optioned to the Padres' alternate training site Thursday.

Naylor recorded just three hits in 13 at-bats during his time in the majors thus far in 2020. With rosters shrinking from 30 to 28 players Thursday, Naylor and pitcher Joey Lucchesi were the odd men out for San Diego.

Freeman went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a double during Thursday's win over the Blue Jays.

Freeman cracked open the scoring in the first inning with a two-run blast off Nate Pearson, then added a leadoff double to start the sixth. After suffering from a tough bout of COVID-19 and missing most of summer camp, the 30-year-old is hitting just .217 this year. Hopefully Thursday's performance is a sign that he is finding his groove. He now has a pair of home runs and three doubles on the season.

Olson went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk Thursday against the Rangers.

Olson took Mike Minor deep in the second inning to collect his fourth home run of the season. After failing to homer in 10 consecutive starts, Olson now has gone yard in back-to-back games. Despite collecting only eight hits in 55 plate appearances to begin the season, Olson has drawn 13 walks and has an on-base percentage of .382.

White went 1-for-4 with an RBI ground-rule double in a win over the Angels on Wednesday, striking out in his other three plate appearances. He's now 1-for-18 with 10 strikeouts across five August games.

White's seventh-inning two-bagger Wednesday broke the 0-for-17 slump he'd opened the month with, a skid that's helped lead to a .125/.208/.229 season line. The rookie has only three extra-base hits (two doubles, one home run) on the campaign, and his mammoth 43.4 percent strikeout rate is naturally a major culprit in his struggles. With the Mariners' in a rebuilding mode, manager Scott Servais is still likely to give White a chance to continue working his way through his slump, especially considering the upside the 24-year-old demonstrated throughout his minor-league career, as well as the fact he's still adjusting to big-league arms after only having logged 18 plate appearances at the Triple-A level.

Smith went 1-for-3 with a double and two RBI in Wednesday's win over the Nationals.

Getting a start for the fourth time in the last five games, the 25-year-old delivered his first two-bagger of the season and upped his RBI total to seven in eight games. Now that Yoenis Cespedes is out of the picture, Smith may be the preferred option in left field for manager Luis Rojas once the rest of the roster is healthy again, with J.D. Davis slotting in at designated hitter. For Wednesday's contest, however, Davis was needed at third base in place of Jeff McNeil (back), putting Billy Hamilton in the outfield and Smith at DH.

Gurriel went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Wednesday's 14-7 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Gurriel went yard in the eighth inning off Diamondbacks reliever Hector Rondon, but it was too little and too late to help the Astros turn things around. Gurriel has hit safely in six straight games, going 9-for-26 with two RBI and five runs scored in that span. The 36-year-old is hitting .286 with two homers, four RBI and eight runs scored across 51 plate appearances.
