Kole Calhoun 1B | CLE
Angels' Kole Calhoun: Exits with knee bruise
Calhoun left Saturday's game against the Rangers with a right knee contusion, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Calhoun went 0-for-3 with three strikeouts and collided with the outfield wall earlier in the game, though the injury appears minor. Manager Brad Ausmus said the 31-year-old is considered day-to-day and could still be in the lineup for Sunday's series finale.

Justin Bour 1B | SF
Angels' Justin Bour: Heads to bench
Bour is not in the lineup Saturday against the Rangers.
Bour sits for just the second time this season. Jonathan Lucroy will rest his legs as the designated hitter, pushing Albert Pujols out to first base.

Asdrubal Cabrera 1B | CIN
Rangers' Asdrubal Cabrera: Sits for first time
Cabrera will hit the bench for the first time Saturday against the Angels.
Cabrera is hitting .241 with three homers through eight games. Logan Forsythe will get the start at third base in his absence.

Paul Goldschmidt 1B | NYY
Cardinals' Paul Goldschmidt: Slugs homer in loss
Goldschmidt went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in a loss to the Padres on Friday.
Goldschmidt squared up on a Trey Wingenter offering in the eighth inning for his fifth homer of the season. The slugging first baseman has been as good as advertised on the power front thus far, but he's actually in a bit of a slump overall. Factoring in Friday's production, Goldschmidt is just 1-for-11 over his last three games.

Rhys Hoskins 1B | CLE
Phillies' Rhys Hoskins: Drives in four in win
Hoskins went 3-for-4 with a walk, a run and four RBI in Friday's win over the Twins.
Hoskins drove in the second run of the game with a first-inning single off Jake Odorizzi. He added on three insurance runs in the seventh off Adalberto Mejia with a rare three-run single. Through six games, Hoskins certainly seems to be enjoying the Phillies' revamped lineup, hitting .300/.481/.500 with 10 RBI.

Ryan O'Hearn 1B | PIT
Royals' Ryan O'Hearn: Sits against southpaw
O'Hearn will be on the bench Saturday against the Tigers, Rustin Dodd of The Athletic reports.
O'Hearn will head to the bench against left-hander Matt Moore. Frank Schwindel will start at first base in his place.

Carlos Santana 1B | ATL
Indians' Carlos Santana: Plays hero with walkoff shot
Santana went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 3-2 win over the Blue Jays.
His first homer of the year was a big one -- a walkoff shot with one out in the ninth inning. Santana's now hitting .417 (10-for-24) with five runs and six RBI through seven games to kick off 2019.

Yandy Diaz DH | TB
Rays' Yandy Diaz: Hits two-run bomb
Diaz went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in a 5-2 victory over the Giants on Friday.
The 27-year-old only had one home run in 120 plate appearances with the Indians last season, so the fact he has two homers already is a bit surprising. Diaz did showcase some pop, hitting a pair of bombs with nine RBI in 49 at-bats during spring training, but the expectation is still that average and on-base percentage will be Diaz' best assets for fantasy owners. He is 9-for-25 (.360) with five extra-base hits, three RBI and six runs in seven games this season.

Christian Walker 1B | HOU
Diamondbacks' Christian Walker: Starting job opens up
Walker should be in line for a regular role at first base as Jake Lamb has been sidelined six weeks with a Grade 2 left quad strain, Jack Magruder of The Sports Xchange reports.
Walker was already starting against lefties and will now presumably get the call against most righties as well. He's hitting .368 with three homers on the season so far this year.
