Naylor is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Naylor started the past two games after being activated from the 10-day injured list Friday, but he'll take a seat against San Francisco lefty Alex Wood. Franmil Reyes will move out to right field while Jose Ramirez serves as the designated hitter Sunday.

Vaughn is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.

Vaughn is 8-for-23 with two homers, a double, six RBI and three runs through seven games this season, but he won't be in the lineup for Sunday's series finale against Tampa Bay. Gavin Sheets will serve as the designated hitter while Adam Engel starts in right field.

Abreu went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run Saturday against the Rays.

Abreu took Corey Kluber yard in the fourth inning to record his first homer of the season. It was his only knock of the game, and he entered Saturday having collected zero hits in his last 12 at-bats while striking out six times in that span. Though he's hitting only .200/.273/.367 through 33 plate appearances, Abreu has scored seven runs and collected four RBI.

Rizzo is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.

Rizzo started the first nine games of the season but will take a seat for Sunday's series finale. DJ LeMahieu will man first base in his place while Gleyber Torres starts at the keystone.

Bohm went 2-for-3 with three RBI and a run scored in Saturday's win over the Marlins.

Bohm has been outstanding as a hitter but woeful on the field, so it makes sense to keep him as the designated hitter until his bat gets cold. That has yet to happen, however, and the 25-year-old is sporting a .700/.625/.900 slash line with two doubles, four RBI, three runs scored and three walks with no strikeouts over his first 16 plate appearances in 2022.

Lowe went 3-for-4 in Saturday's loss to the Angels.

Texas managed only six hits as a team in the contest, with Lowe registering half of that total. The multi-hit performance was Lowe's fourth of the campaign in just eight games. He is batting .375 on the season and leads the Rangers with 12 hits thus far.

Cron went 2-for-4 with two home runs, two runs and three RBI in Saturday's 9-6 victory over the Cubs.

Cron took opposing starter Mark Leiter 466-feet deep to left in the third inning and tacked on a solo shot in the seventh for his third home run in two games. The second-year Rockie is now tied with Vladimir Guerrero for the MLB lead in home runs with five and owns a robust .879 OPS.

Olson went 3-for-4 with a walk and a solo home run in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Padres.

He took Nick Martinez deep in the fifth inning, Olson's second homer of the season. The first baseman has five multi-hit performances through his first 10 games with Atlanta and has an 11:8 BB:K, resulting in a .412/.556/.676 slash line, but Olson curiously isn't driving in many runs -- his only RBI so far have come on his two solo shots.

Cooper was removed from Saturday's game against the Phillies due to an elbow contusion, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Cooper suffered the injury after Jon Berti collided with him in a rundown attempt. The severity of the injury is unclear, though Cooper initially stayed in the game only to later be removed. Joey Wendle entered the game at shortstop while Miguel Rojas moved to first base.

Rivas was optioned to Triple-A Iowa on Saturday, Sahadev Sharma of The Athletic reports.

Rivas earned an Opening Day roster spot but didn't have a path to regular at-bats, going 2-for-4 at the plate in limited action. He'll play regularly in the minors as he waits for his next chance. Mark Leiter's contract was selected in a corresponding move.
