Rojas isn't in the Mariners' lineup Saturday against Texas.

Left-hander Jordan Montgomery is set to start on the mound for the Rangers, so the left-handed bat of Rojas will sit down to begin the game. Jose Caballero will cover second base and bat ninth in Rojas' place.

Polanco will be on the bench for Saturday's game against the Angels, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

The Twins made a large number of changes after celebrating their playoff-clinching win Friday night. Edouard Julien will start at second base Saturday.

Kemp (ankle) isn't in the Athletics' lineup Saturday against the Tigers.

Kemp had to make an early exit from Friday's contest after suffering a right ankle sprain in the sixth inning, and the injury will keep him out of Saturday's game as well. Esteury Ruiz will start in left field in Kemp's place and bat ninth.

Andrus will sit Saturday against the Red Sox.

Andrus has hit well down the stretch, slashing .347/.368/.521 over his last 33 games. He finds himself on the bench for the second time in three games, however, with the White Sox seemingly seeing no reason to give everyday at-bats to a 35-year-old on an expiring contract in a season that's long since gone off track. Lenyn Sosa will be Saturday's second baseman.

The Rays placed Lowe on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a fractured right patella, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

After fouling a ball off his knee Thursday, Lowe is expected to miss 4-to-6 weeks as a result of his injury, making a return this season unlikely even if the Rays advance to the World Series. Raimel Tapia will come up from Triple-A Durham to fill Lowe's roster spot.

Lowe will be sidelined 4-6 weeks after being diagnosed Friday with a fractured right kneecap, Ryan Bass of Bally Sports Suns reports.

Lowe suffered the injury when he fouled a ball off his knee Thursday against the Blue Jays. He's done for the remainder of the regular season and seems doubtful to return for the postseason, even if the Rays make a run all the way to the World Series. The power-hitting second baseman finishes with a .231/.328/.443 slash line, 21 home runs and 68 RBI across 109 games.

Massey isn't in the Royals' lineup Friday against the Astros.

With southpaw Framber Valdez set to start on the mound for Houston, the lefty-hitting Massey will retreat to the dugout. Nick Loftin will handle second base for Kansas City and bat sixth.

Schneider isn't starting Friday against the Rays.

Schneider is 0-for-26 with 11 strikeouts across his last seven games, so he'll get a day off to regroup Friday. Santiago Espinal will start at second base in Schneider's place and bat ninth.

Lowe (knee) will undergo further testing on his right knee Friday, Ryan Bass of Bally Sports Sun reports.

Lowe was reportedly walking around with a noticeable limp after injuring his knee during Thursday's win over the Angels. Isaac Paredes will start at second base Friday with Curtis Mead at third base.

Frazier isn't in the Orioles' lineup Friday against the Guardians, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Frazier will sit down Friday after going just 4-for-24 with three RBI and three runs scored across his last eight games. Jordan Westburg will cover second base while Frazier sits, and Ramon Urias will start at third.
