Rengifo is not in the starting lineup against the Rockies on Saturday, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

The Angels will give Rengifo a day off after an 0-for-2 game against the Rockies on Friday that saw his OPS fall to .589 on the season. Brandon Drury is playing second base with Hunter Renfroe lined up at first base for the first time in the 2023 campaign.

Caballero is not in Saturday's lineup against the Orioles.

Caballero had drawn four consecutive starts but will get a day off Saturday. Kolten Wong is taking over at second base while hitting ninth.

Stefanic was optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake on Saturday, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.

Stefanic was recalled by the Angels after the team suffered a flurry of injuries along the infield. However, the team acquired Eduardo Escobar from the Mets and promoted David Fletcher from Salt Lake, leaving Stefanic without a spot on the roster. He collected two hits across seven at-bats with the Angels.

Caballero went 1-for-3 with two walks, a stolen base and a run in a win over the Orioles on Friday.

While several other teammates put together much more sensational stat lines in the Mariners' 13-1 win, Caballero was effective with a small-ball approach out of the bottom of the order. The rookie's steal was his 11th of the season, while the three times he reached safely pushed his on-base percentage to a stellar .377. Caballero has also reached safely in four of his last five games, although he has just one extra-base hit, a double, over that span.

Dubon went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Dodgers.

Dubon is having a banner year, as he's now close to passing his career high of five homers in a season, as Friday's blast was his fourth. The infielder's .291 batting average would also be a career high if the season ended after Friday. The former Giant looks to be coming into his own, and he is a respectable fantasy option going forward.

Hernandez went 1-for-3 with a stolen base in Friday's 3-1 win over the White Sox.

Hernandez ended an 0-for-10 skid with his hit, which was one of just four knocks for the Red Sox. The versatile 31-year-old continues to split time between second base, shortstop and center field, which allows him to be in the lineup regularly. He sports a .225/.287/.344 slash line with six home runs, three steals, 29 RBI, 34 runs scored and 11 doubles through 69 contests.

Julien isn't in the Twins' lineup Friday against Detroit, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Left-hander Joey Wentz will start on the mound for Detroit on Friday, meaning the lefty-hitting Julien will begin in the dugout. Kyle Farmer will take over at second base and bat fifth.

Gimenez went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Thursday's 6-1 win over the Athletics.

This was Gimenez's first successful steal since May 17 -- he was caught stealing twice over his last 30 games. The second baseman has steadied himself, going 7-for-27 (.259) over his last seven contests. He's had trouble with consistency this year, and he now has a .241/.305/.369 slash line with five home runs, 26 RBI, 31 runs scored and eight thefts over 71 games. Despite the uninspiring batting numbers, he's maintained a near-everyday role.

Arroyo is not in Thursday's lineup against the Twins.

David Hamilton and Pablo Reyes will man the middle infield spots while Arroyo and Enrique Hernandez open the game on the bench. Arroyo has seven hits in nine at-bats over his last two games and should still be a prominent option at the keystone going forward.

Kemp went 2-for-3 with a walk and two runs in a loss to the Guardians on Wednesday.

Kemp authored one of two multi-hit efforts for the Athletics on the night, extending his hitting streak to six games in the process. As rotten a string of luck at the plate as the veteran endured over most of the first two plus-months of the season, the pendulum seems to have swung completely in the opposite direction. With the help of a massive boost in hard-contact rate from 21.2 percent to 46.7 percent, Kemp is sporting an astounding .538 BABIP during his current hot stretch that thoroughly dwarfs the .163 figure he was saddled with from Opening Day through June 14.
