Gorman is absent from the lineup for Monday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Gorman was demoted to the eighth spot in the Cardinals lineup for Sunday's 2-0 loss to the Brewers and now finds himself out of the starting nine altogether. Over his last four contests, Gorman has gone 0-for-17 with 10 strikeouts. Gorman could receive more frequent days off if his slump persists much longer.

Triolo isn't included in the lineup for Monday's game against the Brewers.

Triolo's streak of seven consecutive starts will come to an end Monday with Alika Williams getting the nod at the keystone. The time off could prove beneficial for Triolo, who has gone 2-for-19 at the dish over his last six games.

Guillorme is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Marlins.

Guillorme and fellow lefty-hitting regular Jarred Kelenic will head to the bench for the series opener while Miami brings southpaw Ryan Weathers to the hill. David Fletcher will spell Guillorme at the keystone.

Bogaerts went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and two RBI in Sunday's win over the Blue Jays.

Bogaerts took Chris Bassitt deep in the third for his second home run of the year and later worked a bases-loaded walk in the ninth to give the Padres some insurance. Sunday was Bogaerts' first multi-hit effort since April 3, and he's knocked in runs in back-to-back games for the first time since the opening series in Japan. It's been a slow start for the 31-year-old, as he's now slashing .204/.275/.290 with 10 RBI, 15 runs and a 9:18 BB:K in 102 innings.

Garcia went 3-for-4 with two RBI and a stolen base during Sunday's 6-0 win over the Astros.

Garcia's first inning single off Houston starter Hunter Brown provided the second and third runs for the Nationals. He later added his fifth steal while the three hits raised his average to .317. Perhaps more importantly, it was also the second-consecutive game Garcia was placed in the lineup as the clean-up hitter. Garcia already has seven doubles through 63 at-bats this season after posting 18 over 447 at-bats last year. With the added extra-base pop and a spot in the heart of the order, the 23-year-old Garcia could be in line for a breakout 2024.

Hoerner went 3-for-5 with two doubles and two RBI in Sunday's loss to Miami.

Hoerner put the Cubs on the board with an RBI single in the second inning before adding an RBI double in the fourth. The 26-year-old began the year in an 8-for-44 slump but has turned things around as of late. Over his last seven appearances, Hoerner has gone 14-for-32 (.438) with six extra-base hits and just three strikeouts. That hot stretch has boosted his season slash line to .289/.389/.395.

Albies (toe) isn't wearing a protective walking boot Sunday and has been cleared to participate in fielding drills, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.

The 27-year-old landed on the injured list Tuesday with a fractured toe, but he needed only a brief period with the walking boot. Albies will be eligible to be reinstated Friday, but he'd need to progress quickly in his rehab work this week in order to have a chance of being activated at that point. A potential return the following week seems more realistic.

Rodgers (illness) is starting at second base and hitting sixth in the Rockies' first game of their doubleheader against the Mariners on Sunday.

Rodgers has been out of the starting lineup for each of Colorado's last four games due to an illness, though he did appear as a pinch runner Wednesday against the Phillies. Rodgers is slashing .211/.237/.316 with four doubles, one triple and three RBI over 59 plate appearances this season.

India (illness) is not starting in Sunday's game against the Angels.

India played through an illness in Saturday's game, but he was eventually removed for a pinch hitter in the sixth inning. Santiago Espinal will start at second base, while Tyler Stephenson will serve as the DH for Sunday's game against Angels right-hander Jose Soriano. India will have a chance to suit up for Monday's series opener against the Phillies.
