Jonathan India 2B | KC
Reds' Jonathan India: Receives rare day off
India is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against Atlanta.
India has gone just 1-for-15 with six strikeouts over the past four games, and he'll take a seat Sunday after making 49 consecutive starts. Matt McLain will shift to second base and Elly De La Cruz to shortstop while Nick Senzel receives a start at the hot corner.

Nolan Gorman 2B | STL
Cardinals' Nolan Gorman: Back in action Sunday
Gorman (illness) is starting at second base and batting sixth against the Cubs on Sunday in London.
The 23-year-old sat out Saturday's contest due to the illness but will rejoin the starting nine a day later. Gorman has scuffled at the plate over the past few weeks, going 3-for-47 with a 45.1 percent strikeout rate in his last 13 games.

Ketel Marte 2B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Homers, scores three times
Marte went 2-for-4 with a homer, two RBI and three runs scored in Saturday's loss to the Giants.
Marte crushed a hanging slider from Ryan Walker to right field in his first at-bat of the game, giving Arizona an early 1-0 lead. But the second baseman wasn't done, driving home Jake McCarthy with an RBI single in the fifth before coming around to score himself during a four-run inning for the Diamondbacks as they retook the lead. Marte scored three times in the contest and has now homered in three of his five games, collecting nine RBI over that stretch. He's been red-hot at the plate in June, hitting .324 with five home runs, 18 RBI and a whopping 25 runs scored.

Luis Arraez 2B | SF
Marlins' Luis Arraez: Goes deep Saturday
Arraez went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and two walks Saturday in a 4-3 extra-innings win over the Pirates.
Arraez reached three times in the contest, with his lone hit being a two-run shot in the fifth inning that opened the scoring. The talented second baseman has reached safely in eight straight games, batting a scorching .576 (19-for-33) over that span to lift his season average back over .400. Arraez has also knocked two of his three homers during the red-hot stretch, providing a little extra luster to a skill set that is elite in terms of getting on base but doesn't typically include power or speed.

Ozzie Albies 2B | ATL
Braves' Ozzie Albies: Homers and swipes bag in victory
Albies went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional run and a stolen base in a 7-6 win over Cincinnati on Saturday.
Albies slugged a 425-foot solo shot to right field in the third inning and collected a swipe of second base in the fourth. The 26-year-old extended his hitting streak to six games, during which he's batting .357 (10-for-28) with three homers, seven RBI and two thefts. Albies leads all major-league second basemen with 18 long balls on the campaign.

Jeff McNeil 2B | ATH
Mets' Jeff McNeil: Dealing with wrist soreness
McNeil is not in the Mets' lineup Saturday against Philadelphia due to a sore left wrist, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
McNeil reportedly suffered the injury during Friday's contest and it's unknown whether or not he'll be available off the bench Saturday. Luis Guillorme will fill in at second base in the meantime, and McNeil should be considered day-to-day until the Mets offer more information.

Nick Gonzales 2B | PIT
Pirates' Nick Gonzales: Strikes out twice in debut
Gonzales went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts Friday against the Marlins.
Gonzales was promoted for his big-league debut and started at second base while hitting seventh. No conclusions can be drawn from a single start, but he was striking out a 28.6 percent clip with Triple-A Indianapolis prior to his promotion, so his ability to make consistent contact will be worth watching. Gonzales should get the opportunity to solidify himself as Pittsburgh's everyday second baseman.

Danny Mendick 3B | CHW
Mets' Danny Mendick: Promoted to majors
Mendick was recalled by the Mets on Saturday, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.
The Mets are in need of infield depth after trading Eduardo Escobar to the Angels on Friday. Mendick fills that role reasonably well, as he's capable of playing across most of the infield. In 317 plate appearances with Triple-A Syracuse this season, he's maintained a .264/.356/.401 line. Mendick's stay in the majors may be short-lived, as Mark Vientos is a candidate to be recalled as soon as he is eligible to return to the majors.
