Turang went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Monday's 7-1 win over Pittsburgh.

Although Turang's seven-game hitting streak came to an end as a pinch hitter in Sunday's win over the Mets, he now has at least one knock in eight consecutive starts. The speedy second baseman is on a tear to begin August -- Turang is hitting .353 with five homers, three doubles, 11 RBI and two stolen bases over 34 at-bats so far this month.

Donovan (groin) recorded a two-RBI double in a pinch-hit appearance Monday against the Rockies.

Donovan was called upon in the bottom of the eighth inning and put his club ahead with a clutch double. The 28-year-old hadn't taken an at-bat since Friday due to a left groin injury, but if he emerges from Monday's matchup feeling healthy, there's a chance he could return to the starting lineup Tuesday.

Schmitt is not in the lineup for Monday's contest versus the Padres.

It's a routine day off for Schmitt, who started the previous four and 10 of the last 11 games. Christian Koss will play second base and bat eighth for the Giants in Monday's series opener.

Garcia (back) will start at second base and bat eighth in Monday's game versus the Royals.

Garcia missed each of the last three contests with back tightness. However, he's feeling well enough to give it a go in Monday's series opener.

Stott is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Reds.

The left-handed-hitting Stott remained in the lineup and went 2-for-4 with a pair of stolen bases and a run scored in Sunday's 4-2 win while the Rangers sent lefty Patrick Corbin to the hill, but Stott will retreat to the bench Monday as the Phillies oppose a second consecutive lefty starter (Andrew Abbott). Edmundo Sosa will cover second base in place of Stott and will bat eighth.

Donovan (groin) remains out of the lineup for Monday's contest against the Rockies.

Donovan will miss a third straight start as he battles left groin tightness. He is considered day-to-day. Thomas Saggese will fill in at second base and bat seventh in Donovan's stead.

McLain will start at second base and bat eighth in Monday's game versus the Phillies.

After receiving a day off Sunday, McLain is all the way down in the No. 8 spot Monday, which is the first time since June 21 that he's batted anywhere other than first or second in a start. McLain has collected jus a .648 OPS since the beginning of July. Spencer Steer has been elevated to the two hole for the Reds.

Marte went 2-for-4 with a double, three RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 13-6 win over the Rockies.

Marte singled home a run in the second inning and then contributed a two-run double as part of the Diamondbacks' eight-run fifth inning. Since returning from a personal leave following the All-Star break, Marte is slashing .292/.387/.446 with six extra-base hits, eight RBI and 11 runs scored over 17 games.

Triple-A Reno placed Tawa on its 7-day injured list Aug. 2 due to an unspecified injury.

After being demoted to Reno on July 5, Tawa went just 3-for-31 (.097 average) with 11 strikeouts in nine games before landing on the IL. The utility player is without a timeline to return to action for Reno, and his poor production prior to getting hurt suggests he won't be a high-priority call-up for Arizona when the roster expands in September.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Sunday that Kim (shoulder) could be cleared to take live batting practice by the end of the week, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Kim has resumed taking part in most baseball activities since landing on the injured list July 29 due to left shoulder bursitis, but facing live pitching is the final hurdle he'll need to clear before heading out on a minor-league rehab assignment. The rookie infielder appears to be tracking toward a return from the IL at some point in late August and could be in line for regular playing time at the keystone if he's able to beat Tommy Edman (ankle) back from the shelf.
