Kim went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a walk, a run and four RBI in a 10-3 victory against Miami on Wednesday.

The Padres scored five runs in the first inning, with the fifth among that tally coming on a Kim double that scored Trent Grisham. Kim also produced the final three runs of the contest with a bases-clearing double in the ninth. The shortstop has three multi-hit performances over his past five contests to push his season batting average to .255. He's slashing .310/.344/.483 with eight doubles and nine RBI through 16 games in August.

Marte (hamstring) is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Giants.

Marte entered as a pinch hitter in Wednesday's contest, but he is not ready for a full nine innings just yet. Josh Rojas will again man the keystone for the Diamondbacks.

Urias is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Dodgers.

Mike Brosseau started at third base the last four times a left-hander opened on the mound for the opponent, and he will do the same Thursday. Urias is hitting just .156 (7-for-45) in August, so a day off could do him some good.

Marte (hamstring) entered Wednesday's game as a pinch hitter and went 0-for-1 in a 3-2 win over the Giants.

Marte pinch hit for Alek Thomas in the seventh but did not play the field beyond that plate appearance, as Daulton Varsho replaced Thomas in center field. Marte's appearance as a pinch hitter suggests his hamstring injury is a minor one, and he could return to the starting lineup before the end of the week.

Donovan went 3-for-5 with a double, one RBI and one run scored in Wednesday's 5-1 win over Colorado.

Donovan got the job done Wednesday, notching three hits while batting in the No. 2 hole in front of Paul Goldschmidt and Nolan Arenado. This was just his second multi-hit game since the beginning of August, but that can be partially explained by manager Oliver Marmol regularly rotating batters in and out of the lineup recently. Donovan owns a robust .399 OBP over 86 games on the season, but it is unlikely that he will maintain everyday playing time while the Cardinals are flooded with options in the field.

Gorman went 2-for-4 with one double and three RBI in Wednesday's victory over the Rockies.

St Louis got off to a hot start in the first inning, supported by back-to-back ground-rule doubles off the bats of Nolan Arenado and Nolan Gorman. Gorman knocked in two more runs on the night with a fielder's choice in the fifth and a single in the seventh. The rookie has been losing playing time recently, particularly against southpaws, but he's now hit safely in each of his last five starts and is making a case for more opportunities.

Pirates director of sports medicine Todd Tomczyk said Wednesday that Bae (oblique) should return to action for Triple-A Indianapolis or a lower-level affiliate as part of a rehab assignment within the next few days, Alex Stumpf of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.

Bae is on Indianapolis' 7-day injured list due to an oblique strain, which has kept him out of commission since July 24. The 23-year-old has picked up starts in both middle-infield spots as well as left field and center field this season, but he's expected to be eased back in as a designated hitter when he's formally activated from the IL. Before being shut down with the injury, Bae was slashing .300/.367/.453 with eight home runs and 20 steals in 358 plate appearances for Indianapolis.

Estrada is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Diamondbacks, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Estrada started the last nine games after returning from the 7-day concussion injured list Aug. 7, and he had a .324/.342/.618 slash line during that stretch. Wilmer Flores will shift to second base Wednesday while Tommy La Stella serves as the designated hitter.

Atlanta manager Brian Snitker said Wednesday that Albies (foot) is expected to continue ramping up his progression of baseball activities next week while he accompanies the team on its six-game road trip, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Albies, who has been on the shelf since undergoing surgery July 15 to repair a broken right foot, has already been cleared for infield work since shedding his walking boot, and he'll likely be adding batting practice to his regimen of activities during the upcoming week. Though Albies' inclusion on the road trip is a positive sign, his activation from the 60-day injured list isn't imminent, as Snitker and the team is not yet willing to put out a target date for the 25-year-old's return. David O'Brien of The Athletic speculates that Albies will likely need a two-week rehab assignment before Atlanta is comfortable activating him, so mid-September may be a possible timeline for when he's ready to go. In the meantime, rookie Vaughn Grissom will continue to serve as Atlanta's everyday second baseman.

Marte (hamstring) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Giants.

The 28-year-old suffered the injury Sunday against the Rockies and will be sidelined Wednesday for the third consecutive contest. Manager Torey Lovullo previously indicated the injury wouldn't necessitate a trip to the injured list, so Marte should still be considered day-to-day.
