Luis Urias 2B | ATH
Brewers' Luis Urias: Blasts leadoff homer
Urias went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and three strikeouts during Thursday's 10-5 win over the Reds.
Urias got Milwaukee on the board with a solo blast in the bottom of the first, but he failed to put the ball in play during his final three at-bats. Over his first three games of the season, Urias has logged four hits, four runs scored, three walks and two RBI.

Josh Rojas 3B | CHW
Diamondbacks' Josh Rojas: Rehabbing at Reno
Rojas (oblique) has played two games as part of a rehab assignment for Triple-A Reno. He's 2-for-5 with four walks, a double, two RBI and a stolen base.
Rojas served as the designated hitter Tuesday then third base Wednesday, each time playing nine innings. The Diamondbacks plan to welcome him back at some point during a homestand that kicks off Friday against the Rockies.

Ketel Marte 2B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Runs hit streak to five
Marte went 2-for-2 with two walks, a double and two runs scored in Wednesday's 8-7 win over the Marlins.
Marte is still batting below .200, but he extended a hit streak to five games, during which he's 6-for-18 with five extra-base hits, three walks and six runs scored. Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo has moved him around the order in effort to jumpstart the bat, and his recent run batting sixth against right-handers appears to have helped.

Nico Hoerner 2B | CHC
Cubs' Nico Hoerner: Goes deep Wednesday
Hoerner went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's loss to the White Sox.
Hoerner is now riding a modest three-game hitting streak and he's up to two home runs this season. The shortstop isn't a huge power threat, as he failed to hit any long balls across 92 games at the MLB level over the last two years. However, the 24-year-old does make consistent contact at the plate, and he's now batting a solid .276 this season.

Luis Guillorme 3B | HOU
Mets' Luis Guillorme: Knocks first homer
Guillorme went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Wednesday against Atlanta.
Guillorme drew a start at second base and hit eighth with Mark Canha drawing a day off and Jeff McNeil shifting to the outfield as a result. Guillorme moved up a slot on the depth chart after Robinson Cano was designated for assignment, and he has now started three of the team's last five games. He took advantage of the opportunity Wednesday by taking Darren O'Day yard for his first homer of the season in the ninth inning. Guillorme is now hitting .243/.364/.405 across 45 plate appearances on the campaign.

Jonathan India 2B | KC
Reds' Jonathan India: Out for two weeks
India's hamstring injury is the same injury that landed him on the injured list earlier, and it will keep him out "a couple of weeks," but not four-to-six weeks, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports. "It's the same injury, but I've been assured that nothing he did while he was playing made it worse," manager Bell said. "He was trying to play through it, but it just wasn't good enough to continue to play. Based on the information we had, he ran the risk of reinjury if he kept playing."
Remember, this originally was a day-to-day injury that kept the Reds from putting India on the injured list for five days after he initially suffered it against the Dodgers. When all is said and done, India will have missed a cumulative four-to-five weeks, assuming there are no additional setbacks.

Mauricio Dubon 2B | ATL
Giants' Mauricio Dubon: Stuck in slump
Dubon has gone 1-for-14 in his last nine games.
Dubon has already been contained to a part-time role even with injuries piling up in the Giants' outfield. With Mike Yastrzemski (illness) and Joc Pederson (groin) nearing returns, Dubon's path to playing time is likely to narrow even more. For the season, the utility man has a .143/.138/.179 slash line with three RBI, three runs scored and a double in 29 plate appearances.

Michael Chavis 2B | CIN
Pirates' Michael Chavis: On bench for second straight
Chavis is out of the lineup for the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader with the Tigers.
Chavis made four consecutive starts from last Wednesday through Saturday, but he now finds himself on the bench for the second game in a row. With the Pirates recently returning Bryan Reynolds and Cole Tucker from the COVID-19 injured list, the righty-hitting Chavis looks like he'll find himself on the bench more often than not against right-handed pitchers.

Luis Urias 2B | ATH
Brewers' Luis Urias: On base twice in return
Urias (quadriceps) went 1-for-2 with a walk, an RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's win over the Reds.
Urias, who was making his 2022 debut after missing the start of the season with a quad injury, scored on a Willy Adames homer in the third inning and later drove in a run on a single. He was also caught stealing -- a bit of a bummer, but it's nice to see he's feeling spry enough to run. Urias was batting out of the nine hole in his first game off the injured list.

Nico Hoerner 2B | CHC
Cubs' Nico Hoerner: Delivers offense Tuesday
Hoerner went 1-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Tuesday's loss to the White Sox.
Hoerner delivered the Cubs' only extra-base hit and only RBI in the 3-1 loss to their crosstown rivals. Andrelton Simmons (shoulder) recently began throwing again, and his eventual return could cut into Hoerner's playing time. For now, Hoerner should see most of the team's time at shortstop, and he's performed pretty well with a .278 average, though he only has one home run and eight RBI across 22 games.
