Brice Turang 2B | MIL
Brewers' Brice Turang: Bumped up to Triple-A
Turang was promoted from Double-A Biloxi to Triple-A Nashville on Tuesday, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.
The 21-year-old middle infielder hit .264/.329/.385 with five home runs and 11 steals in 73 games at Double-A. It was an age-appropriate level for Turang, and his 15 percent strikeout rate was quite impressive, given the caliber of pitching at Double-A. However, he was just a touch below league average (98 wRC+) due to his middling on-base percentage and lack of power (.122 ISO). He could make his big-league debut next season.

Josh Rojas 3B | CHW
Diamondbacks' Josh Rojas: Targets weekend return
Rojas (finger) has taken batting practice and is targeting a return this weekend, Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic reports.
Rojas is still dealing with discomfort and range-of-motion issues in his left pinky finger, and he may not be 100 percent for another month or so. That means he'll have to manage the pain. Rojas is tentatively scheduled to take live at-bats in a simulated game Wednesday. If that goes well, manager Torey Lovullo wants to see him play in a minor-league rehab game or two before coming off the injured list.

Luis Urias 2B | ATH
Brewers' Luis Urias: Not starting Monday
Urias is out of the lineup Monday against the Pirates.
The acquisition of Eduardo Escobar ahead of the trade deadline makes it a crowded infield in Milwaukee, and Urias was always likely to be the odd man out with Willy Adames and Kolten Wong providing top-level offense and defense up the middle. Urias should still see regular playing time as a utility infielder given his solid .236/.334/.414 slash line, but his time as the Brewers' everyday starter at third base has come to an end as long as the rest of the infield stays healthy.

Liover Peguero SS | PIT
Pirates' Liover Peguero: Scorching hot
Peguero went 2-for-4 with three runs scored and a pair of homers for High-A Greensboro on Sunday.
He's hit five home runs in the last three games, giving him a slash line of .423/.464/1.038 in the last week and 11 homers in 269 plate appearances. Peguero, who has also swiped 17 bases in 20 tries, continues to play shortstop next to second baseman Nick Gonzales. The tandem could play in Pittsburgh by 2023.

Ketel Marte 2B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Starts Sunday
Marte started in center field and went 1-for-4 in Sunday's 13-0 loss to the Dodgers.
Marte was activated off the injured list Saturday but did not appear in a game until Sunday's blowout loss to Los Angeles. He was the lone member of the starting lineup with a batting average higher than .259.

Ha-seong Kim 2B | ATL
Padres' Ha-Seong Kim: Cranks sixth homer
Kim went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double and three RBI in Sunday's 8-1 win over the Rockies.
Kim doubled in the first inning, driving in two runs. In addition, he homered off Antonio Santos in the sixth inning. Kim is receiving additional playing time now that Fernando Tatis (shoulder) is on the 10-day injured list. Kim has struggled in July, batting .229 with eight RBI and three runs scored. He hit his first home run Sunday since June 22. The 25-year-old is slashing just .214/.273/.364 with six long balls, 29 RBI, 20 runs and five steals in 229 plate appearances.

Jeff McNeil 2B | ATH
Mets' Jeff McNeil: Goes yard Sunday
McNeil went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 7-1 loss to Cincinnati.
The 29-year-old got the Mets on the board with a solo shot in the sixth inning. It was his third homer in his last 10 games after having that many in his first 56 contests this season. McNeil has hit safely in 16 of his last 17 games, going 22-for-62 (.355) in that span. He's posted a .276/.354/.402 slash line with six long balls, 25 RBI, 27 runs scored and two stolen bases through 240 plate appearances overall.

Thairo Estrada 2B | BAL
Giants' Thairo Estrada: Sits in second straight
Estrada is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Astros, Amy Gutierrez of the Giants' official site reports.
Estrada worked as the Giants' primary shortstop for most of the second half of July, but he lost hold of that job after Brandon Crawford returned from the injured list Thursday. Thanks to his defensive versatility, Estrada picked up starts in left field Friday and Saturday, but he'll be relegated to a bench role for the second game in a row to close out the series. The return of Crawford along with the trade-deadline acquisition of Kris Bryant will likely force Estrada to settle for utility duties moving forward, even though he slashed an impressive .348/.419/.515 with three home runs and a stolen base in July.

Luis Guillorme 3B | HOU
Mets' Luis Guillorme: Out with hamstring strain
Guillorme was placed on the 10-day injured list Sunday with a strained left hamstring, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
Guillorme apparently suffered the injury Saturday when he appeared as a pinch runner and came around to score. The 26-year-old's playing time was already set to diminish following the acquisition of Javier Baez, and he'll now be sidelined for at least the next 10 days.

Ketel Marte 2B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: On bench after reinstatement
Marte, who was activated off the injured list Saturday, did not play in an 8-3 loss to the Dodgers.
It's odd that Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo left Marte on the bench after he was activated, then didn't use him as a pinch hitter later in the game, instead opting for Josh Reddick. Presumably, when he does re-enter the starting lineup, Marte will be the center fielder.
