Jeff McNeil 2B | ATH
Mets' Jeff McNeil: Swats fourth homer
McNeil went 2-for-6 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Monday's 15-11 extra-innings win over the Reds.
He launched a solo shot off Vladimir Gutierrez in the first inning, going back-to-back with Pete Alonso to give the Mets an early 3-0 lead in the wild affair. McNeil has hit safely in eight straight games and is slashing .280/.359/.329 over 92 plate appearances since returning from the IL in late June, but Monday's homer was his first in that time and only his fourth of the season. His 2019 power output is increasingly looking like a product of that year's rabbit ball.

Reds' Jonathan India: On base five times Monday
India went 2-for-3 with three walks, a double, two runs scored and an RBI in Monday's 15-11 extra-innings loss to the Mets.
The rookie has emerged as an outstanding leadoff option for the Reds. Since the beginning of July, India is slashing .340/.530/.511 with one homer, one steal, seven RBI, eight runs and a 13:16 BB:K through 15 games.

Ketel Marte 2B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: MRI coming
Marte (hamstring) had been scheduled for an MRI on Monday, but it has been pushed back to Tuesday.
Apparently, the MRI machine was not working properly, so the procedure was pushed back a day. The Diamondbacks are anxious to see the state of his hamstring before determining his next steps. Marte has hit in the batter's box, executed some forward movements, and taken grounders.

Gavin Lux SS | TB
Dodgers' Gavin Lux: Lands on injured list
Lux was placed on the 10-day injured list Monday with a strained left hamstring.
Lux was diagnosed with a mild hamstring strain after exiting Sunday's loss to the Rockies and he'll be sidelined for at least the next 10 days. Despite it initially being labeled a mild strain, manager Dave Roberts said the young infielder's recovery "could take some time," per Juan Toribio of MLB.com.

Adam Frazier 2B | LAA
Pirates' Adam Frazier: On bench Monday
Frazier will sit Monday against the Diamondbacks.
This appears to be nothing other than a routine day off for Frazier, who's in the middle of a career year, hitting .326/.391/.456. That performance may earn him a move out of Pittsburgh, as he's been one of the more talked-about players in the lead-up to the trade deadline. Nearly every potential move would grant him an upgrade in both park factors and the quality of the lineup surrounding him. Wilmer Difo starts at second base in his absence.

Nico Hoerner 2B | CHC
Cubs' Nico Hoerner: Out of lineup
Hoerner will be on the bench for Monday's game against the Cardinals.
Hoerner went hitless Sunday against Arizona, ending a seven-game hitting streak. He'll hit the bench Monday, with Eric Sogard starting at second base.

Josh Rojas 3B | CHW
Diamondbacks' Josh Rojas: On base five times
Rojas went 1-for-1 with a double, four walks, two runs scored and a stolen base in Sunday's 6-4 win over the Cubs.
Rojas has reached base safely in nine straight games (.525 OBP) and has been a bright spot in an otherwise disappointing season for the Diamondbacks. He's settled in as the team's primary leadoff hitter while moving around the diamond at second base, shortstop and corner outfield. Rojas is slashing .261/.348/.435 over a career-high 348 plate appearances.

Gavin Lux SS | TB
Dodgers' Gavin Lux: Slated for additional testing
Lux (hamstring) is dealing with a mild strain after exiting Sunday's loss to the Rockies, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Manager Dave Roberts said after Sunday's game that Lux could miss a couple days while he recovers, but he'll undergo further testing to determine the extent of the issue. Chris Taylor and Zach McKinstry could see time at shortstop if the 23-year-old is ultimately sidelined, and he should be considered day-to-day for now.

Gavin Lux SS | TB
Dodgers' Gavin Lux: Exits with apparent hamstring issue
Lux was removed from Sunday's game against the Rockies in the bottom of the ninth inning due to an apparent left hamstring injury, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Lux grounded out to end the top of the ninth inning, and he appeared to grab his left hamstring as he ran out of the batter's box. He was able to limp off the field under his own power, but he was replaced defensively in the bottom half of the frame. Prior to Lux's departure, he went 0-for-4 with a strikeout. Whether the injury forces him to miss additional time remains to be seen.

Jonathan India 2B | KC
Reds' Jonathan India: Goes yard in loss Saturday
India went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Saturday's loss to the Brewers.
India took reliever Brad Boxberger deep to left field to lead off the eighth inning, the seventh home run of the season for the rookie infielder. He's also drawn a team-leading 42 walks.
