Jonathan India 2B | KC
Reds' Jonathan India: Reaches base four times
India went 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI, a run scored and a walk in Monday's win over the Brewers.
India has hit safely in four straight games and has also reached base at least twice in three straight contests, so he's been making quite an impact at the top of the Reds' order. The second baseman has hit safely in all but two of Cincinnati's games this month, hitting .357 with two homers, four doubles, six RBI, 11 runs scored and a 9:9 BB:K during that stretch.

Brendan Rodgers 2B | BOS
Rockies' Brendan Rodgers: Not starting Monday
Rodgers is out of the lineup Monday against the Padres.
Rodgers started the last three games at the keystone but will move to the bench for Monday's series opener. Ryan McMahon will cover second base while Joshua Fuentes starts at the hot corner.

Kelby Tomlinson 2B | SF
Rockies' Kelby Tomlinson: Joins Colorado on MiLB deal
Tomlinson signed a minor-league contract with the Rockies on June 1 and was assigned to the organization's rookie-level Arizona League affiliate.
Tomlinson had been out of baseball since the Rockies released him from his minor-league deal last June, so he'll presumably be put through a de facto spring training in the Arizona League before reporting to Triple-A Albuquerque. The 30-year-old will give the Rockies an experienced utility man at the upper levels of the minors; he previously appeared in 273 big-league games with the Giants between 2015 and 2018.

Nolan Gorman 2B | STL
Cardinals' Nolan Gorman: Submits massive week at Double-A
Gorman was named the Double-A Central Player of the Week on Monday after going 9-for-26 with seven home runs, 12 RBI and eight runs over a six-game stretch between June 7 and June 13.
Gorman had left the yard only three times through the first month of the Double-A season, but he suddenly finds himself near the top of the minor-league leaderboard in home runs on the heels of a huge week in the power department. He's now holding down a .954 OPS this season at Springfield, a sizable increase from the .765 mark he posted between Low-A Peoria and High-A Palm Beach in 2019. Gorman has seen most of his action at third base this season, but he's also picked up nine starts at second base, the position that likely represents his most realistic path to an everyday role at the big-league level with eight-time Gold Glove winner Nolan Arenado entrenched at the hot corner.

Ketel Marte 2B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Reaches base three times in loss
Marte went 2-for-3 with a walk in Sunday's 10-3 loss to the Angels.
Marte got on base three times, but to no avail, as nothing came out of the chances. He's slashing .321/.372/.449 with two home runs, nine RBI, 11 runs scored and a 7:14 BB:K in 22 games since returning from the injured list in mid-May. He's been an exception in what has otherwise been a disastrous season for the Diamondbacks as he's kept up his solid play despite the team only having won twice since he was reinstated.

Jeff McNeil 2B | ATH
Mets' Jeff McNeil: Starts rehab assignment
McNeil (hamstring) went 0-for-2 while playing five innings at second base Sunday in the first game of his rehab assignment with High-A Brooklyn.
Since he's been sidelined for nearly a month with a strained left hamstring, McNeil is expected to remain on his rehab assignment for about a week before the Mets bring him back from the injured list. Once he returns, McNeil will likely settle into an everyday role at either third or second base, leaving fewer starts available for the likes of Jonathan Villar, Jose Peraza and Luis Guillorme.

Luis Urias 2B | ATH
Brewers' Luis Urias: Triples, scores twice
Urias went 2-for-4 with an RBI triple and two runs scored in Sunday's 5-2 win over Pittsburgh.
Urias scored the game's first run on Daniel Vogelbach's first-inning double. He later knocked an RBI triple and came around to score again in the sixth. The 24-year-old infielder is slashing .231/.330/.412 with 18 extra-base hits and 25 runs scored this season.

Josh Rojas 3B | CHW
Diamondbacks' Josh Rojas: Gets Sunday off
Rojas is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.
After turning in his second two-homer game in as many Saturdays, Rojas will retreat to the bench for the series finale in what's likely just a routine rest day. Since settling in as Arizona's primary leadoff man May 26, Rojas is hitting .194 and getting on base at a .275 clip. He doesn't appear at risk of losing hold of a full-time role, though Rojas could end up settling lower in the Arizona lineup more frequently.

Isan Diaz 2B | DET
Marlins' Isan Diaz: Heads to bench
Diaz is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against Atlanta, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Diaz will sit for the second time in four games, and his grasp on the everyday role at third base could be loosening amid his ongoing struggles at the plate. Through 10 games in June, Diaz has posted a .576 OPS while striking out in 28.6 percent of his plate appearances.

Brendan Rodgers 2B | BOS
Rockies' Brendan Rodgers: Getting regular work at keystone
Rodgers will start at second base and bat sixth Sunday against the Reds.
Trevor Story's recent return from the injured list has proven more detrimental to Garrett Hampson than to Rodgers. Hampson will be on the bench for the second time in three games Sunday, while Rodgers collects his third start in a row at the keystone. Rodgers struggled to get going at the plate in his initial action when he was reinstated from the IL on May 21, but he's slashing .323/.405/.645 thus far in June while striking out only 16.2 percent of the time.
