  • Luis Guillorme 3B | HOU

Mets' Luis Guillorme: Back with big club

Guillorme was recalled prior to Thursday's game against the Nationals, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

The Mets are pretty banged up, so Guillorme could see some starts over the final three days -- he is not in Thursday's lineup. Michael Conforto (hamstring) was placed on the injured list in a corresponding move. Guillorme is hitting .347 with zero home runs and two steals in 49 at-bats.

  • Adam Frazier 2B | LAA

Pirates' Adam Frazier: Homers early in win

Frazier went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, an RBI and a run scored Wednesday as he helped the Pirates to a 2-1 win over the Cubs.

Frazier got things rolling right away as he opened up the bottom of the first by taking Kyle Hendricks deep to right to knot the game up at one apiece. The Pirates would then promptly take the lead after Ke'Bryan Hayes sent a ball flying over the center-field wall the very next at-bat to put his team up 2-1. Frazier's homer Wednesday snapped an 11-game drought as the 28-year-old has struggled at the plate for a majority of the season, hitting .220/.290/.335 with six home runs, 19 RBI and 19 runs scored across 211 plate appearances.

  • Mauricio Dubon 2B | ATL

Giants' Mauricio Dubon: Swats third homer

Dubon went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk during Wednesday's win over the Rockies.

Dubon launched a three-run blast against Yency Almonte in the fifth inning to give the Giants the lead. The long ball was the third of the year for the 26-year-old, who is averaging .286 across 49 games.

  • Andres Gimenez 2B | TOR

Mets' Andres Gimenez: Goes deep in loss

Gimenez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 8-5 loss to the Rays.

Gimenez tied the game at 1-1 in the second inning with his solo shot. It was the third homer of the year for the shortstop. Gimenez has added seven stolen bases, 12 RBI and 22 runs scored across 131 plate appearances.

  • Ozzie Albies 2B | ATL

Braves' Ozzie Albies: Three hits in route

Albies went 3-for-4 with a solo home run Tuesday, as the Braves beat the Marlins 11-1.

Albies smashed his sixth homer of the season in the second inning and has three bombs over his past seven games. He is a scorching 11-for-28 over that same stretch and raised his average to .289 with Tuesday's performance.

  • Jeff McNeil 2B | ATH

Mets' Jeff McNeil: Back-to-back two-hit days

McNeil went 2-for-4 with a pair of base hits Tuesday in the Mets' 5-2 win over the Rays.

Since homering in four consecutive games earlier this month, McNeil's power output has tailed off, but he's continued to rack up hits atop the Mets lineup. He's already turned in 10 multi-hit performances in 20 September games, good for a .405 average on the month.

  • Ketel Marte 2B | ARI

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: In lineup Wednesday

Marte will be in the starting lineup Wednesday, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.

Marte was activated Tuesday after a stay on the injured list due to wrist inflammation and played second base in win over the Rangers. After Wednesday's game, the team will evaluate how he's feeling physically and whether he will play any innings in center field. The Diamondbacks are off Thursday before finishing off the season with four games against the Rockies, including a doubleheader Friday.

  • Josh Rojas 3B | CHW

Diamondbacks' Josh Rojas: Lands on IL

Rojas was placed on the injured list with lower-back inflammation Tuesday.

Rojas' placement on the IL cleared the way for Ketel Marte to be activated. The move ends Rojas' season after 70 plate appearances and a slash line of .180/.257/.180. There could be room for him on the roster as a super utility player in 2021, but a career .567 OPS mitigates the benefits of his versatility.

  • Ketel Marte 2B | ARI

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Goes 1-for-4 in return

Marte (wrist) went 1-for-4 in Tuesday's 7-0 win over the Rangers.

Marte hit a single in the fifth inning but couldn't come around to score. He played seven innings on defense before Josh VanMeter replaced him at second base in the blowout win. Marte has two homers, 14 RBI, 17 runs scored and a stolen base in 41 contests.

  • Josh Rojas 3B | CHW

Diamondbacks' Josh Rojas: Not starting Tuesday

Rojas (back) is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against Texas.

Lower-back discomfort forced Rojas to leave Sunday's game against the Astros and will cost him at least one start. Ketel Marte returns from a wrist injury to start at second base.
