Isan Diaz 2B | DET
Marlins' Isan Diaz: Batting second in MLB debut
Diaz was called up as expected for his big-league debut Monday against the Mets, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
The 23-year-old earned the callup after hitting .305/.395/.578 with 26 homers for Triple-A New Orleans. Scouting reports project Diaz as a future average starter, with competent defense at second base along with above-average contact and average power, though the power he showed this season could suggest that he has the ceiling to be at least an above-average starter. He'll get the chance to jump straight into a key role for the Marlins, batting second and playing second base in his debut. He should earn a large share of the at-bats down the stretch, as Starlin Castro certainly hasn't done anything to keep himself in a starting role.

Jeff McNeil 2B | ATH
Mets' Jeff McNeil: Homers in second straight game
McNeil went 2-for-4 with a home run, double, walk, two RBI and three additional runs Sunday in the Mets' 13-2 triumph over the Pirates.
Despite nursing a sore right wrist heading into the weekend, McNeil looked no worse for the wear while appearing in all three games and starting twice. Across the three contests, McNeil went 5-for-10 with two home runs, two walks, three RBI and seven runs, lifting his season average to an NL-best .336. Though he's been working in the corner outfield lately, he'll likely see most of his action at second base for the foreseeable future after Robinson Cano (hamstring) was placed on the 10-day injured list Monday. McNeil will check in at the keystone and handle his usual leadoff duties in the first game of a doubleheader with the Marlins, per Deesha Thosar of the New York Daily News.

Luis Guillorme 3B | HOU
Mets' Luis Guillorme: Moves up to big club
The Mets recalled Guillorme from Triple-A Syracuse ahead of Monday's doubleheader with the Marlins.
He'll fill the active roster spot vacated by Robinson Cano (hamstring), who was placed on the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move. Cano's injury creates an opening in the everyday lineup at second base, but Jeff McNeil is the most logical candidate to shift back to the infield to fill the void, leaving Juan Lagares and Aaron Altherr to vie for a spot in the outfield alongside regulars Michael Conforto and J.D. Davis. Guillorme, meanwhile, is expected to serve as a lightly-used backup at the keystone, third base and shortstop, effectively keeping him off the fantasy radar.

Enrique Hernandez SS | LAD
Dodgers' Enrique Hernandez: Resumes baseball activities
Manager Dave Roberts said Sunday that Hernandez (hand) was recently able to take dry swings, Rowan Kavner of MLB.com reports.
Fellow utility man Chris Taylor (forearm) remains at a similar place in his recovery, though Roberts noted that Hernandez was likely "a couple days ahead of Chris." Hernandez was slashing an impressive .352/.417/.574 in July before going down with the injury, leaving the Dodgers without two of their more versatile options and motivating the team to acquire Tyler White from the Astos and Kris Negron from the Mariners.

Isan Diaz 2B | DET
Marlins' Isan Diaz: Getting call to majors
Diaz is expected to be recalled from Triple-A New Orleans prior to Monday's doubleheader against the Mets, Craig Mish of FNTSY Sports Radio reports.
Diaz has been tearing it up at Triple-A this season, slashing .305/.395/.578 with 26 homers and 70 RBI over 102 contests. As a result, he'll get a chance to make his big-league debut at second base, though he'll compete for playing time with Starlin Castro and Jon Berti.

Luis Urias 2B | ATH
Padres' Luis Urias: Remains on bench Sunday
Urias is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers.
It's the second straight contest on the bench for Urias, who has a .132/.313/.211 slash line in 12 games since being called up July 20. Greg Garcia will grab another start at the keystone in his place.

Amed Rosario SS | NYY
Mets' Amed Rosario: Bags three hits
Rosario went 3-for-4 with a double, walk, stolen base and two runs Saturday in the Mets' 7-5 win over the Pirates.
The shortstop has now turned in a pair of multi-hit performances in a row, lifting his season average to a robust .281. He served as the Mets' leadoff man Saturday with Jeff McNeil getting the day off, but Rosario will shift down in the order to the No. 6 spot in Sunday's series finale.

Ozzie Albies 2B | ATL
Braves' Ozzie Albies: Swipes two bags
Albies went 2-for-4 with a walk, a triple, two runs scored and two stolen bases in Saturday's 5-4 extra-inning win over the Reds.
The 22-year-old has been on fire at the plate lately, slashing .320/.382/.540 over his last 12 games, but Saturday's steals were the first for Albies during that stretch. He's now 10-for-12 on the basepaths overall this season, and hitting second behind an aggressive leadoff hitter like Ronald Acuna -- who's been running up a storm since the All-Star break -- could be rubbing off on Albies.

Jeff McNeil 2B | ATH
Mets' Jeff McNeil: Posts pinch-hit homer
McNeil went 2-for-2 with a solo home run and two runs in a 7-5 victory over the Pirates on Saturday.
The rookie entered as a pinch hitter in the seventh and launched a solo homer. He stayed in after a double switch and scored following a single in his second at-bat. The two hits raised McNeil's batting average to .334, and he has 12 homers, 47 RBI and 57 runs in 365 at-bats this season.

Luis Urias 2B | ATH
Padres' Luis Urias: Not starting Saturday
Urias is not in the lineup Saturday against the Dodgers.
Despite hitting .315/.398/.600 for Triple-A El Paso, Urias hasn't come close to getting things going in the big leagues, hitting .113/.286/.177 in 23 games. Greg Garcia will start at second base in his absence.
