  • Giants' Kelby Tomlinson: Not in Saturday's lineup

Tomlinson is out of the lineup against Colorado on Saturday, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Tomlinson will get a regular day off following six straight starts, including back-to-back hitless outings to open this series. Miguel Gomez will man the keystone in his stead.

  • Logan Forsythe 2B | LAD

Dodgers' Logan Forsythe: Heads to bench Friday

Forsythe is not in the starting lineup Friday against the Nationals.

Forsythe has yet to play in back-to-back games since returning from his shoulder injury. Chase Utley will again start at second base.

  • Adam Frazier 2B | LAA

Pirates' Adam Frazier: Out against southpaw

Frazier is not in the lineup against San Diego on Thursday.

Frazier will retreat to the bench for a second straight day with left-hander Eric Lauer taking the hill for the Padres. In his absence, Max Moroff will start at the keystone.

  • Dodgers' Enrique Hernandez: Settling into platoon role

Hernandez will start in center field and bat fifth Thursday against the Marlins, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Hernandez enjoyed a quasi-full-time role with the Dodgers through most of April while Justin Turner and Logan Forsythe spent time on the disabled list, but with both injured players reinstated Tuesday, it's expected that Hernandez will now see most of his starting opportunities in center field on the short side of a platoon with Joc Pederson. While Hernandez doesn't project to see consistent at-bats outside of weeks in which the Dodgers face lefty-heavy pitching schedules, the 26-year-old should make for a quality punt-play in DFS whenever he's included in the lineup versus southpaws. Over 503 career plate appearances against lefties, Hernandez owns a .263/.358/.500 slash line, good for a 131 wRC+.

  • Giants' Kelby Tomlinson: Tallies two hits Wednesday

Tomlinson went 2-for-4 with a double in Wednesday's loss to the Reds.

Tomlinson started at shortstop Wednesday, but he also started the previous three games at the keystone in place of the injured Alen Hanson (hamstring). The utility infielder has put his contact skills on display with six hits over that four-game span. Tomlinson doesn't have a ton of fantasy utility -- especially while batting eighth in the order -- but with 19 steals in 407 career plate appearances, he could be a cheap source of stolen bases in deeper leagues until either Joe Panik (thumb) or Hanson returns.

  • Logan Forsythe 2B | LAD

Dodgers' Logan Forsythe: Out of lineup Wednesday

Forsythe is not in the Dodgers' lineup Wednesday against the Marlins, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Forsythe won't play on back-to-back days immediately after returning from a shoulder injury. Chase Utley will get the start at second base in his place.

  • Isan Diaz 2B | DET

Marlins' Isan Diaz: Exits Wednesday's game following HBP

Diaz left Wednesday's contest at Double-A Jacksonville after getting struck in the helmet with a fastball in the first inning.

Diaz was helped off the field by the club's coaching staff and there will likely be an update on his condition following the conclusion of Wednesday's game. The 22-year-old infielder is currently hitting .194/.321/.336 with four home runs and 13 RBI through 36 games this season.

  • Adam Frazier 2B | LAA

Pirates' Adam Frazier: Heads to bench Wednesday

Frazier is out of the lineup Wednesday against the White Sox.

The lefty-hitting Frazier will cede leadoff and second-base duties to the switch-hitting Max Moroff with southpaw Hector Santiago on the bump for the White Sox. Frazier has been a mainstay atop the lineup against right-handed pitching for the past month, but he's expected to transition into more of a part-time role in short order with Josh Harrison (hand) trending toward a return from the 10-day disabled list as soon as the upcoming weekend.

  • Logan Forsythe 2B | LAD

Dodgers' Logan Forsythe: Back in action Tuesday

Forsythe (shoulder) was activated from the disabled list and is in the lineup Tuesday against the Marlins.

Forsythe will bat seventh and play second base. The veteran had played just 12 games this season before being shut down with shoulder inflammation. In those 12 games, he was hitting a meager .174/.224/.283.

  • Luis Urias 2B | ATH

Padres' Luis Urias: Ends dry spell at dish

Urias went 2-for-4 with a double and a walk Monday for Triple-A El Paso in its 6-3 win over Reno.

Prior to his two-hit performance Monday, Urias was in the midst of his longest offensive drought of the season, as he had gone 1-for-20 over the previous six contests. Urias still drew five walks during the rough patch and maintains a 26:27 BB:K across 151 plate appearances this season, displaying the kind of plate discipline that should make him a fixture atop the order for the Padres before long. Urias remains on track to earn a promotion to San Diego at some point this season, and his timetable for a callup could be accelerated if primary second baseman Jose Pirela fails to dramatically improve upon the unremarkable .265/.324/.347 batting line he's sporting for the campaign.
