Ketel Marte 2B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Draws back in at shortstop Tuesday
Marte (hamstring) will start at shortstop and bat eighth Tuesday against the Dodgers.
Marte sat out Sunday's series finale against the Giants with the tight left hamstring, but after the team's off day Monday, it appears he'll be on tap for a full slate of starts in the middle infield this week. The Diamondbacks have mostly received solid offensive contributions from Marte since he settled into a full-time role in late July, but his production had dipped prior to the injury. The 23-year-old enters play Tuesday riding a 2-for-24 cold streak at the dish.

Adam Frazier 2B | LAA
Pirates' Adam Frazier: Lands on DL
Frazier was placed on the 10-day disabled list with a right hamstring strain Monday.
Frazier exited Sunday's game with the hamstring injury, and while the Pirates initially didn't think the injury was anything to worry about, further tests indicated it was serious enough to warrant a trip to the disabled list. He's without a timetable for return, but he'll be eligible to be activated Sept. 7. John Faso or Sean Rodriguez will likely see the majority of the starts in right field while Frazier and Gregory Polanco (hamstring) remain sidelined.

Amed Rosario 3B | NYY
Mets' Amed Rosario: Heads to bench Sunday night
Rosario is not in the lineup for the second game of Sunday's doubleheader against the Nationals, Matt Ehalt of The Record reports.
The Mets will give their prized rookie the night off and have Jose Reyes start at shortstop. Rosario had a great performance in Game 1 on Sunday, as he went 2-for-4 and hit his fourth home run of the season.

Adam Frazier 2B | LAA
Pirates' Adam Frazier: Undergoing additional examination
Frazier will have his hamstring examined further Monday in Chicago while the Pirates are on their road trip against the Cubs, Rob Biertempfel of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.
More information regarding Frazier's status should be known following Monday's examination. However, the team is optimistic that he'll be able to avoid a stint on the disabled list. If Frazier is withheld from the lineup Monday, Sean Rodriguez or John Jaso will likely fill in and patrol right field.

Brandon Drury 2B | KC
Diamondbacks' Brandon Drury: Moves back to bench Sunday
Drury is out of the lineup Sunday against the Giants.
Drury had started the previous three games at second base, with the latter two coming against left-handed pitchers. The 25-year-old should remain a lineup mainstay against southpaws, but he still looks to be stuck in the weak side of a platoon at second base with Daniel Descalso, who gets the start Sunday.

Ketel Marte 2B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Withheld from Sunday's lineup
Marte (hamstring) is out of the lineup Sunday against the Giants.
Marte was pulled from Saturday's game after experiencing left hamstring tightness, but it's not believed to be a serious concern. According to Kate Longworth of Fox Sports Arizona, Marte showed improvement when he was reevaluated Sunday, and with a team off day looming Monday, the Diamondbacks are hopeful that the young infielder will be good to go for Tuesday's series opener against the Dodgers. Adam Rosales replaces Marte at shortstop Sunday.

Adam Frazier 2B | LAA
Pirates' Adam Frazier: Exits with hamstring issue
Frazier was removed from Sunday's game against the Reds in the third inning with right hamstring discomfort.
Frazier seemed to suffer the injury while running down the first-base line while attempting to beat out an inning-ending double play in the top half of the third. The Pirates replaced Frazier at second base with Max Moroff in the bottom half of the frame. Frazier is considered day-to-day at this time, with an update on his status likely to come before Monday's series opener against the Cubs.

Adam Frazier 2B | LAA
Pirates' Adam Frazier: Holding down full-time role
Frazier will start at second base and bat second Sunday against the Reds.
Frazier will pick up his fourth consecutive start and remain in the lineup for the 17th time in 18 games, with Gregory Polanco's (hamstring) placement on the disabled list earlier in August effectively allowing the utility man to reclaim an everyday role. After a rough finish to the first half, Frazier has been sizzling since the All-Star break, submitting a .336/.395/.464 line to go with 17 RBI and 12 runs in 36 games. Even once Polanco returns, the Pirates should find a way to keep the versatile Frazier in the lineup for at least a handful of starts per week.

Ketel Marte 2B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Leaves game with hamstring tightness
Marte left Saturday's game with left hamstring tightness.
He was lifted after flying out to right field in the bottom of the fifth inning, with Adam Rosales shifting over to shortstop and Daniel Descalso entering the game at third base. The Diamondbacks are off Monday, so they may opt to wait and see how Marte feels after a couple days of rest before making any DL decisions.

Kelby Tomlinson 2B | SF
Giants' Kelby Tomlinson: Returns to bench
Tomlinson moved back to the bench following Joe Panik's activation off the disabled list Friday.
The speedy infielder provided modest fantasy value with a .293 batting average and three stolen bases in 11 games while Panik dealt with a concussion. Tomlinson will resume his regular utility role and can safely be ignored in most fantasy leagues.
