Solarte is not in the lineup against Seattle on Friday, Hazel Mae of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Solarte will take a seat for just the second time since the All-Star break as Aledmys Diaz draws the start at shortstop. Dating back to the start of the second half, Solarte is hitting just .188 with a .507 OPS and five RBI in 13 games. Look for him to return to the lineup Saturday.

Kemp is out of the lineup against the Dodgers on Friday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Kemp will retreat to the bench with southpaw Alex Wood on the mound. Since the beginning of July, Kemp is hitting .264/.381/.415 with two home runs, eight RBI and four stolen bases. Jake Marisnick will draw a start in the outfield during the series opener.

McNeil is not in the lineup Friday against the Braves.

McNeil has gotten regular playing time since getting called up July 24. He hasn't gotten a ton of hits, though his .190/.370/.333 line translates to a league-average 100 wRC+. He'll likely continue to get opportunities down the stretch in a lost season for the Mets. Jose Reyes will start at second base in his place.

Hernandez went 2-for-3 with a pair of runs Thursday in the Dodgers' 21-5 win over the Brewers.

Hernandez was withheld from the lineup for a second straight contest, but entered at shortstop in the sixth inning when Manny Machado moved to the bench with the Dodgers maintaining an eight-run lead. The Los Angeles offense kept pushing down on the throttle over the final three innings, allowing Hernandez to finish with his first multi-hit performance since June 28. Hernandez slashed just .148/.222/.321 in between those outings and now looks destined for a regular bench gig after the trade-deadline additions of Machado and Brian Dozier and the recent returns of Justin Turner and Yasiel Puig from the disabled list.

Marte went 2-for-3 with a walk, stolen base and a run scored in the Diamondbacks' 8-1 loss to the Dodgers on Tuesday.

It was only Marte's fourth stolen base of the season and seventh in 178 career games with the Diamondbacks, a disappointing total for a player who showed plenty of promise on the basepaths as a rookie with Seattle in 2015. While Marte hasn't matured into the stolen-base threat that many envisioned, he has shown growth as a power hitter in his fourth season in the majors. His personal-best .430 slugging percentage is supported by a 35.8 hard-hit percentage that is nearly nine points above his career rate.

Andrus went 3-for-6 with a double, three RBI and two runs scored Thursday against the Orioles.

Andrus joined in the Rangers' offensive barrage Thursday, extending his hitting streak to 13 games. In that span, he has gone 21-for-52 with 10 RBI and 12 runs scored. That run has driven Andrus' batting average up to .284, it's highest mark since June 19.

Sweeney was designated for assignment prior to Thursday's matchup against Seattle, Mike Wilner of Sportsnet 590 The Fan reports.

Sweeney went 0-for-2 with two walks in one game since being called up to the Blue Jays on Tuesday. He'll head to the waiver wire to make room for the additions of Ken Giles and Mike Hauschild.

Biggio went 3-for-5 with two home runs, a double and five RBI for Double-A New Hampshire in its 14-3 victory Wednesday over Richmond.

It's the first multi-homer game as a professional for Biggio, whose 23 long balls tie Akron's Bradley Bradley for tops in the Eastern League. Biggio is also pacing the circuit with a .397 on-base percentage following the graduation of teammate Vladimir Guerrero Jr. to Triple-A Syracuse, with a whopping 19.3 percent walk rate buoying the second baseman in that category. It likely won't be long until Biggio joins Guerrero at Syracuse in search of a stiffer challenge.

Rosario is out of the lineup against Atlanta on Thursday.

Rosario will take a seat following nine straight starts, during which he's hit just .150 with a .390 OPS. Jose Reyes will draw the nod at shortstop while batting eighth in the order.

Beckham was sent to Triple-A Tacoma on Thursday.

After being designated for assignment Monday, Beckham cleared waivers and he'll head back to Triple-A. Through 70 games for the Rainiers in 2018, he's slashing .305/.406/.469 with eight homers and 38 RBI.
