Lipscomb is headed to Pittsburgh and is expected to be recalled from Triple-A Rochester ahead of Wednesday's game against the Pirates, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.

Lipscomb will take the roster spot of Paul DeJong, who is expected to go on the injured list after being hit in the face by a pitch in Tuesday's game. He could see some action at third base while DeJong is out, but Lipscomb will be behind Amed Rosario in the pecking order at the hot corner.

McLain went 0-for-2 with three walks, an RBI and two runs scored in Tuesday's 8-4 win over the Mariners.

McLain was activated earlier in the day, returning to second base and second in the order. He scored each time after the first two walks, and then the final free pass came with the bases loaded. After opening the season with six hits in his first 19 at-bats, McLain is hitless over the last 11 and is batting .200.

Hoerner went 3-for-5 with a triple and an RBI in Tuesday's 2-1 extra-inning win over the Padres.

The 27-year-old infielder provided the decisive blow, leading off the 10th inning with a triple off Yuki Matsui that brought home phantom runner Dansby Swanson. Hoerner has racked up seven hits over the last four games, boosting his slash line on the season to .328/.371/.391 with six steals, eight runs and 11 RBI in 16 contests.

Turang went 1-for-4 with a walk and a stolen base in Tuesday's win over the Tigers.

Turang reached in the first and swiped second for his fourth steal of the year. He's now tallied a hit in all but one game so far this season, though he does not have an extra-base hit since he homered April 8. The 25-year-old is slashing .329/.367/.466 with three homers, 10 RBI, 17 runs and a 4:17 BB:K in 79 plate appearances.

Albies went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's loss to the Blue Jays.

Albies took Chad Green deep in the ninth to make it a 6-3 deficit for Atlanta. Albies has three homers and five RBI in his last five games while also notching a hit in eight straight. He's slashing .250/.311/.471 with four homers, 10 RBI, nine runs and a 6:10 BB:K in 74 plate appearances so far this season.

Alexander (oblique) exited a recent rehab game with a hip impingement but is back in the lineup at Triple-A Reno on Tuesday, Jose M. Romero of AZCentral.com reports.

Alexander originally landed on the 10-day injured list with a right oblique strain, and the more recent hip issue sidelined him for just two days. He could be ready for activation before long, although the 25-year-old isn't a given to join the big-league roster at that time.

Marte (hamstring) will take live batting practice Tuesday, Jose M. Romero of AZCentral.com reports.

Marte is ramping up activities, but the big test will come when he's cleared to run, and it's uncertain when that might happen. The Diamondbacks hope the second baseman is ready to return by late April or early May.

Rodgers (hip) remains out of the lineup for Tuesday's contest in St. Louis, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Rodgers hasn't started a game since April 9 because of a left hip injury. He did appear as a pinch hitter in Monday's game and presumably will be available off the bench again Tuesday. Mauricio Dubon is starting at second base Tuesday for the third game in a row.

Julien will start at second base and bat leadoff in Tuesday's contest against the Mets.

It marks the third straight game that Julien has batted leadoff and the eighth game in a row that he's been in the lineup. Previous leadoff man Matt Wallner is hitting third for the Twins on Tuesday.

Baldwin is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Athletics.

Baldwin has been serving in a super-utility role for the White Sox but will begin Tuesday's festivities on the bench. He's seen most of his action in the corner-outfield spots lately, but Chicago will go with Michael Taylor in left field and Joshua Palacios in right field Tuesday.
