Gavin Lux SS | TB
Dodgers' Gavin Lux: Getting day off against lefty
Lux is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against Atlanta.
Lux is one of three lefty-hitting regulars along with Max Muncy and James Outman who will hit the bench while southpaw Max Fried takes the hill for Atlanta. Miguel Rojas will fill in for Lux at second base.

Nolan Gorman 2B | STL
Cardinals' Nolan Gorman: Out of Sunday's lineup
Gorman is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.
Gorman is 1-for-17 with four walks and five strikeouts over his past six games, and he'll receive a day to reset Sunday. Jose Fermin is starting at the keystone and batting eighth in the series finale versus Chicago.

Nicky Lopez 3B | ARI
White Sox's Nicky Lopez: Managing adductor issue
Lopez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox and is dealing with adductor soreness, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Manager Pedro Grifol indicated Lopez could have played through the issue, but the skipper decided to provide a day off. The 29-year-old should be considered day-to-day heading into Monday's series opener in Tampa Bay. Braden Shewmake is manning the keystone while Bryan Ramos starts at third base Sunday.

Cavan Biggio RF | KC
Blue Jays' Cavan Biggio: Ducks out of lineup against LHP
Biggio is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.
With southpaw MacKenzie Gore on the hill for Washington, the lefty-hitting Biggio will retreat to the bench. Toronto will insert Isiah Kiner-Falefa into the lineup as its starting second baseman.

Michael Massey 2B | KC
Royals' Michael Massey: Three hits in Saturday's loss
Massey went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in Saturday's 15-4 loss to the Rangers.
Massey was a bright spot in the Royals' lopsided loss, extending his hitting streak to seven games in the process. He's gone 10-for-25 (.400) with two home runs, two doubles, seven RBI and six runs scored in that stretch. The second baseman took about a week to get his bat going after recovering from a back injury, but he's stepped up to claim a starting role at the keystone, which has bumped Adam Frazier into a utility role.

Thairo Estrada 2B | COL
Giants' Thairo Estrada: Three hits in loss
Estrada went 3-for-5 with one RBI and one run scored in Saturday's 14-3 loss to the Phillies.
Estrada has found some consistency in May, going 7-for-17 (.412) over the first four games of the month. He's added two doubles and four RBI in that short stretch. He started slowly, but the second baseman is now up to a respectable .254/.270/.426 slash line with four home runs, 17 RBI, 13 runs scored, one stolen base, seven doubles and one triple over 126 plate appearances.

Colt Keith 3B | DET
Tigers' Colt Keith: Starting Sunday after all
Keith will start at second base and bat seventh in Sunday's game against the Yankees.
The lefty-hitting Keith had been in line to receive Sunday's game off with southpaw Nestor Cortes taking the hill for New York, but the rookie was a late addition to the lineup after outfielder Wenceel Perez (illness) was scratched from the starting nine. As a result of Perez's removal from the lineup, Matt Vierling will move from third base to right field, while Andy Ibanez shifts over to the hot corner to open up second base for Keith.
-
Curtis Mead 3B | CHW
Rays' Curtis Mead: Sitting in second straight game
Mead is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mets.
Mead will sit against a right-handed starting pitcher for the second time in as many days and seems to have lost hold of a regular role at second base after slashing just .218/.269/.276 through 93 plate appearances on the season. The Rays' infield picture will become more crowded if Jonathan Aranda (finger) is activated from the 10-day injured list during the upcoming week, so Mead could be sent back to Triple-A Durham in a corresponding move so he can get regular playing time.
-
Jared Triolo 3B | PIT
Pirates' Jared Triolo: Getting rest day
Triolo is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.
Triolo will take a seat for the series finale after he started in each of the past 11 games while getting on base at a .333 clip over that stretch. Alika Williams will step in at second base while Triolo rests Sunday.
-
Luis Rengifo 3B | LAA
Angels' Luis Rengifo: Remains out with illness
Rengifo (illness) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians.
He'll be withheld from the starting nine for the second day in a row while recovering from an illness. Rengifo has been playing on a near-everyday basis of late while toggling between second base and third base, but he'll give way to Brandon Drury at the keystone and Cole Tucker at the hot corner for Sunday's series finale.
