Jace Peterson SS | ARI
Athletics' Jace Peterson: Not starting Saturday
Peterson will be on the bench Saturday against the Rangers.
Peterson has been in nearly a strict platoon this season, starting just once against a lefty. With Andrew Heaney on the mound Saturday, Aledmys Diaz gets the nod at third base.

Oswald Peraza 3B | LAA
Yankees' Oswald Peraza: Reaches twice, steals base
Peraza went 1-for-2 with a run scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Blue Jays. He also walked once.
Peraza's steal is his first in the majors this season, but the sixth when you count the five he had in nine games with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. The 22-year-old infielder has significant speed and would be a major contributor to the category for fantasy players if he was to get an everyday role with the Yankees, but there's just no guarantee that will happen for Peraza in 2023.

Gunnar Henderson 3B | BAL
Orioles' Gunnar Henderson: Not starting Saturday
Henderson will get the day off Saturday against the Tigers, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
Henderson is walking at a 21.4 percent clip this season but isn't doing much else at the plate, hitting .185/.371/.296 with one home run. He'll sit for the fourth time in the first 20 games as a result, with Ramon Urias starting at the hot corner.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Walks off Blue Jays with single
LeMahieu hit a pinch-hit walkoff single to help the Yankees to a 3-2 win over Toronto on Saturday.
LeMahieu began this contest on the bench, but with the bases loaded and no outs, he singled home pinch runner Isiah Kiner-Falefa in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Yankees the win. That's the eighth RBI of the season for LeMahieu, and perhaps one that helps him break out of the 1-for-13 slump he was in prior to Saturday's contest.

Isaac Paredes 3B | HOU
Rays' Isaac Paredes: Not in Saturday's lineup
Paredes will sit Saturday against the White Sox, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Paredes has homered three times in 18 games this season, not far from his pace of 20 homers in 111 games last year, but his overall .219/.286/.375 slash line is unimpressive. Taylor Walls will get the start at third base in his absence.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Heads to bench
LeMahieu will sit Saturday against the Blue Jays.
After starting five straight games at the hot corner, LeMahieu served as the designated hitter Friday and will now some rest the next day. He's striking out at a 29.9 percent clip this season, more than double his career 14.7 percent mark, but his overall .237/.328/.458 slash line is good for a 122 wRC+. Oswald Peraza will get the start at third base.

Alex Bregman 3B | CHC
Astros' Alex Bregman: Four-game hitting streak
Bregman went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk and an RBI on Friday against Atlanta.
Bregman delivered an RBI double in the first inning and also tallied a leadoff single two frames later. The performance extended his hitting streak to a modest four games, though he also has at least one knock in 10 of his last 11 contests. Bregman has gotten off to a slow start overall, but he's quietly improved his OPS to a .701 mark through 93 plate appearances.

Josh Donaldson 3B | MIL
Yankees' Josh Donaldson: Out for multiple weeks
Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Friday that Donaldson will likely be out for a couple of weeks with a Grade 1-plus strain in his right hamstring, Chris Kirschner of The Athletic reports.
Donaldson had to cut short his rehab assignment Wednesday after experiencing a setback. It's unclear if the Yankees will send him on another assignment once he's feeling better, but his return to the majors has been pushed back well into May, at the least.

Tyler Nevin 3B | ATH
Tigers' Tyler Nevin: Heads to bench Friday
Nevin will sit Friday versus the Orioles, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Nevin will get a breather after he went 0-for-4 with a strikeout Wednesday against the Guardians, dropping to 1-for-10 from the plate this season. Nick Maton will slide over to third base while Jonathan Schoop enters the lineup at second base and bats eighth in the series opener in Baltimore against righty Tyler Wells.

Oswald Peraza 3B | LAA
Yankees' Oswald Peraza: Making first start at third base
Peraza is starting at third base and batting sixth for the Yankees in Friday's game versus the Blue Jays, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.
Peraza has never played third base at any level of professional baseball until now. The Yankees have been using DJ LeMahieu as their regular starter at the hot corner with Josh Donaldson (hamstring) out, but LeMahieu will be in the designated hitter spot Friday.
