  • Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE

Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Adds another steal Wednesday

Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI, a run scored and a stolen base in Wednesday's 4-0 win over the Rangers.

Ramirez has recorded five of his nine steals this season in his last 11 games, despite hitting just .256 over that span. The third baseman continues to provide well-rounded production with a .285/.388/.611 slash line, 14 home runs, 54 RBI, 34 runs scored, 13 doubles and four triples through 227 plate appearances in an everyday role.

  • Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA

White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Sitting Thursday

Moncada is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's contest against the Dodgers.

Moncada will get a breather after starting the first two games of the series, going 1-for-7 in those contests. Jake Burger will get the start at third base and bat fifth Thursday.

  • Jake Burger 1B | TEX

White Sox's Jake Burger: Slugs sixth homer

Burger went 2-for-4 with a solo home run Wednesday against the Dodgers.

Burger provided the lone run for the White Sox by taking Tony Gonsolin yard in the fifth inning for his sixth homer of the season. He's quietly been a strong source of power of late, collecting four home runs, four doubles, 12 RBI and six runs scored across his last 11 appearances. He has also remained a regular in the lineup since the return of Yoan Moncada, though Burger could be in for another challenge for playing time when Eloy Jimenez (hamstring) is activated from the injured list.

  • Isaac Paredes 3B | HOU

Rays' Isaac Paredes: Remains out of lineup

Paredes is not in the starting lineup Thursday versus the Cardinals, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.

He will take a seat for a second consecutive game Thursday as Vidal Brujan will get another start at second base and bat ninth. Paredes is currently in the middle of a 2-for-17 dry spell, so it's possible the Rays are giving him an extra day of rest to get right.

  • Jose Miranda 3B | MIN

Twins' Jose Miranda: Three hits, three RBI in win

Miranda went 3-for-4 with a double, three RBI and a run in Wednesday's victory over the Yankees.

Miranda ripped an RBI single off Nestor Cortes in the bottom of the fourth frame before later adding a double, a run and a two-RBI single. It was the third time in his last four starts where he's recorded multiple hits, going 8-for-16 with two homers, two doubles, seven RBI and four runs in those contests. With Carlos Correa now back in the fold following a stint on the COVID list, it may be difficult for Miranda to start on a consistent basis, but his recent stretch has certainly helped his chances to crack the lineup.

  • Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Receives rare day off

Devers is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Angels, Christopher Smith of The Springfield Republican reports.

Devers is riding a seven-game hit streak but will receive a day off Wednesday after starting the past 38 games. It's only his second time out of the lineup this season. Bobby Dalbec will take over at third base for Boston, batting seventh.

  • Isaac Paredes 3B | HOU

Rays' Isaac Paredes: Not in Wednesday's lineup

Paredes is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Cardinals.

Paredes started in the last five games and went 2-for-13 with a homer, three runs, three RBI and five walks. Vidal Brujan will take over at the keystone and bat sixth Thursday.

  • Royce Lewis 1B | MIN

Twins' Royce Lewis: Healing, but no major progress

Lewis has demonstrated some healing since landing on the 10-day injured list May 30, but he has yet to progress to baseball activities while recovers from a bone bruise of his right knee, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

Hayes relays that the Twins are still planning on sending Lewis in for a follow-up MRI, but that seems merely designed to confirm the first diagnosis that he's dealing with a bone bruise. In any case, Lewis looks to be at least a week away from resuming activities, so a late-June return from the IL could be a best-case scenario for the hotshot rookie at this juncture.

  • Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE

Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Picks up steal Tuesday

Ramirez went 0-for-7 with a pair of walks and a stolen base in Tuesday's doubleheader versus the Rangers.

Ramirez has now gone hitless in three straight games for the first time all season. The steal was a nice consolation prize for fantasy managers -- he's now 8-for-10 on the basepaths this year. Overall, the star third baseman has a .280/.386/.608 slash line with 14 homers, 53 RBI, 33 runs scored, four triples and 12 doubles in 51 contests. It's safe to assume his current mini-slump at the plate won't last much longer.

  • DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY

Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Productive offensive outing

LeMahieu went 3-for-4 with one RBI and two runs scored in Tuesday's win over the Twins.

LeMahieu was productive on the basepaths, scoring on home runs by Anthony Rizzo and Aaron Judge. The veteran righty picked up his RBI on a bases loaded walk. The three-hit outing was his third such instance this season and brought LeMahieu's batting average up to .264.
