  • DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY

Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Productive offensive outing

LeMahieu went 3-for-4 with one RBI and two runs scored in Tuesday's win over the Twins.

LeMahieu was productive on the basepaths, scoring on home runs by Anthony Rizzo and Aaron Judge. The veteran righty picked up his RBI on a bases loaded walk. The three-hit outing was his third such instance this season and brought LeMahieu's batting average up to .264.

  • Taylor Walls SS | TB

Rays' Taylor Walls: Delivers walkoff homer

Walls went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run Tuesday in the Rays' 4-2 win over the Cardinals in 10 innings.

Walls made his lone hit of the game count, taking Drew VerHagen deep in the bottom of the 10th for a two-out walkoff blast, his third of the season. Now that he's moved past the calf issue that sidelined him for a few days last week, Walls is expected to maintain an everyday role at shortstop while Wander Franco (quadriceps) is on the 10-day injured list.

  • Ramon Urias 3B | STL

    Orioles' Ramon Urias: Smacks homer

Urias went 1-for-3 with a home run, a hit-by-pitch and two total runs scored in Tuesday's 9-3 win over the Cubs.

Urias went 0-for-7 in his last two games, and he was well on his way to another lackluster line Tuesday before going yard in the sixth inning. His was one of five homers hit by the Orioles in the contest. Urias is now one shy of his career high with six homers through 48 contests this season. He's added 18 RBI, 22 runs scored, 10 doubles and a .225/.273/.387 slash line.

  • Tigers' Jeimer Candelario: Won't miss too much time

Candelario's shoulder subluxation isn't expected to cost him much more than the minimum 10 days, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.

Candelario was diagnosed with the subluxation Tuesday, but it appears to be a fairly minor one. He'll be out until at least next Thursday, with Harold Castro expected to serve as the primary third baseman in Candelario's absence.

  • Jose Miranda 3B | MIN

Twins' Jose Miranda: Retreats to bench

Miranda is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Yankees, Marly Rivera of ESPN.com reports.

Miranda has produced three home runs while batting .318 over his last six starts, but his playing time could grow more scarce with Max Kepler recently returning from the restricted list and with Carlos Correa (illness) on track to come off the COVID-19-related injured list Wednesday. The rookie will be taking a seat Tuesday for only the third time in the Twins' last nine contests.

  • Anthony Rendon 3B | LAA

Angels' Anthony Rendon: Fields grounders Monday

Rendon (wrist) took grounders before batting practice Monday, but a timetable for his return remains uncertain, the Associated Press reports.

Rendon has been showing improvement, and a recent medical evaluation indicated that he is healing as expected. The third baseman went on the 10-day injured list with right wrist inflammation May 27 and is eligible to return, but it appears that he'll need additional time before rejoining the big-league club. It's uncertain if Rendon will need to go on a rehab assignment once he's able to play.

  • Tigers' Jeimer Candelario: Placed on injured list

Candelario was placed on the 10-day injured list with a left shoulder subluxation Tuesday.

Candelario suffered the injury Sunday against the Yankees. The transaction was backdated by one day, meaning Candelario will be eligible to return next Thursday, but it's not yet clear whether that's a potential target date. A subluxation is a minor dislocation, so the third baseman's recovery time will depend on just how minor his particular dislocation is. Harold Castro is the only other Tiger to play third base thus far this season, so he'll likely spend a fair amount of time there in Candelario's absence.

  • Abraham Toro 1B | BOS

Mariners' Abraham Toro: Heads to bench Monday

Toro is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Astros.

Toro will retreat to the bench after he went 2-for-19 with two runs and an RBI over his five games (four starts) since he returned from the 10-day injured list last Wednesday. With Taylor Trammell handling designated-hitter duties Monday in place of Toro, Dylan Moore will enter the starting nine in the outfield.

  • Orioles' Gunnar Henderson: Climbs to Triple-A

The Orioles promoted Henderson from Double-A Bowie to Triple-A Norfolk on Monday.

He'll be joined in Norfolk by fellow infield prospect Jordan Westburg, who also received a promotion from Bowie on Monday. The 20-year-old Henderson was slashing .312/.452/.573 with eight home runs and 12 stolen bases in 208 plate appearances at Bowie this season.

  • Isaac Paredes 3B | HOU

Rays' Isaac Paredes: Slugs fourth homer

Paredes went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Sunday against the White Sox.

Paredes led off the fifth frame with his fourth home run of the season. He's hit just .161 across his last 10 games, yet has slugged .419 while also collecting six RBI and four runs scored. Paredes figures to maintain increased playing time due to the absences of Wander Franco (quadriceps) and Brandon Lowe (back), but he will also compete with Vidal Brujan and Taylor Walls to be in the lineup.
