Dodgers' Max Muncy: Starting at first base for Game 6

Muncy will start at first base and bat fifth in Game 6 of the NLCS against the Mets on Sunday, Noah Camras of DodgersNation.com reports.

Enrique Hernandez will start at third base Sunday while Muncy shifts to first base due to Freddie Freeman (ankle) being absent from the starting lineup. Muncy has gone 5-for-13 with nine walks, two home runs and four RBI over the first five games of the NLCS.

  • Dodgers' Enrique Hernandez: Starting at third base for Game 6

Hernandez will start at third base and bat sixth for Game 6 of the NLCS against the Mets on Sunday, Noah Camras of DodgersNation.com reports.

With Freddie Freeman (ankle) out of the starting lineup for Game 6, Hernandez will serve at the hot corner while Max Muncy shifts to first base against Mets left-hander Sean Manaea. Through the first five games of the NLCS, Hernandez has gone 6-for-20 with two walks, one home run and three RBI.

  • Dodgers' Enrique Hernandez: Starting in center field Friday

Hernandez will start in center field and bat seventh Friday in Game 5 of the NLDS against the Padres, Kirsten Watson of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports.

Miguel Rojas (thigh) is absent from the lineup, as expected, and the Dodgers will shift Tommy Edman to shortstop while Hernandez occupies center field. Hernandez started at third base in Game 4 and went 2-for-4 with a run scored.

  • Donovan Solano 1B | TEX

Padres' Donovan Solano: Sitting out Game 4

Solano isn't in the Padres' lineup Wednesday for Game 4 of the NLDS against the Dodgers.

Wednesday marks the third straight game San Diego has decided to keep Solano on the bench after a 1-for-13 start to the postseason. Luis Arraez will get the starting nod at first base instead while David Peralta serves as the DH.

  • Donovan Solano 1B | TEX

Padres' Donovan Solano: Out of Game 3 lineup

Solano is absent from the lineup Tuesday in Game 3 of the NLDS against the Dodgers.

The Padres used Luis Arraez at first base and David Peralta in the designated-hitter slot in Game 2 and will go with that setup again after Peralta went deep in the contest. Solano did get two plate appearances off the bench in Game 2 and is a good bet to enter mid-game again when/if the Dodgers turn to a lefty reliever.

  • Alec Bohm 3B | PHI

Phillies' Alec Bohm: Will return to lineup for Game 3

Phillies manager Rob Thomson said Monday that Bohm will be back in the lineup for Game 3 of the NLDS versus the Mets on Tuesday, Alex Coffey of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Edmundo Sosa got the start at third base in Game 2, although Bohm pinch hit for him in the seventh inning and wound up with two plate appearances. Bohm is just 2-for-33 over his last nine contests dating back to the tail end of the regular season.

  • Donovan Solano 1B | TEX

Padres' Donovan Solano: Sitting in Game 2

Solano is not in the lineup Sunday for Game 2 of the NLDS against the Dodgers.

He had started the last three games dating back to the regular season, but Solano heads to the bench in this one against righty Yu Darvish. David Peralta enters the lineup in his place, starting at designated hitter and batting eighth.

  • Alec Bohm 3B | PHI

Phillies' Alec Bohm: Out of lineup for Game 2

Bohm is not starting for the Phillies in the second game of the NLDS versus the Mets.

Bohm went 0-for-4 in Game 1 of the series Saturday after finishing the regular season in a 2-for-27 slump. The Phillies are opting to start Edmundo Sosa at third base Sunday against Mets right-hander Luis Severino.

  • Brett Baty 3B | NYM

Mets' Brett Baty: Joins taxi squad

Baty is with the Mets in Milwaukee as part of their taxi squad, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Jesse Winker is dealing with a back issue, which has his status for the National League Wild Card series in question. If Winker is unable to go, it sounds like Baty would be the choice to replace him on the roster. Baty put up a .633 OPS in 50 games during the regular season with the Mets but had a .925 OPS in his final 14 contests at Triple-A Syracuse.

  • Mark Vientos DH | NYM

Mets' Mark Vientos: Not in lineup for second game

Vientos is absent from the lineup for the second game of Monday's doubleheader against Atlanta, Tim Britton of The Athletic reports.

Vientos will get a breather for the second game after the Mets wrapped up a playoff spot with their win in the first contest. Jose Iglesias will shift over to third base while Eddy Alvarez gets a start at second base.
